I greatly appreciate everyone joining in support of Meara continually being as romantically dense as her player when it comes to things related to herself.  Even when we have to stretch things and create silly new canon lore.

And I will let my roomie know you said she's wise.

My roomie's great.  She's basically a sister, but like, one you chose and not one that was hoisted upon you and then you had to fight over the TV.

Does anyone want to add anything to the current scene or are we good to move on?

I have nothing to add, but happily await repercussions for Brun.

During transit, I do feel like he'd start working on trying to engineer some sort of particle generator or other technobabble device to try and stabilize the connection...  or punch a message through....  or anything...  which is a TALL task and probably not within this relatively short trip time

He could brainstorm it for sure, but I doubt that the Thames would have the right stuff on board to do cutting-edge physics. Keep in mind, Humanity right now can't even make a New Wyrmgate if they wanted to. MerLN would know how theoretically, but they have lost a lot of their high-end tech and the Wyrmgates were a big deal at Humanity's technological height.

All true.  But, in rebuttal, we have a Brun and an Irina. And a Rose!  THEY have not tried it yet.  Plus Meara throwing in a clutch piece of information or astute observation at JUST the right time.

Humanity has never had these minds working on the problem before!  They all have Names!  They are more special, right?

Oh, I am not saying that they couldn't get it done, just that getting it done would take a lot of effort and be a huge deal. Also assumes they don't get eaten by a dragon.

That's fair.  Dragons have always been a major obstacle to scientific progress.

I do think we should react to Euryleia's autonomous behavior somehow, but can't put together a proper response in my head. Maybe the other two Knights bring it up to Brun in private? Maybe Rose approaches them, or Brun, or all three?

When she's not being ravaged by an Irina Bear, Meara would absolutely want to talk with Irina, Gwydion, and Iliza about the fact that Euryleia is moving on her own, and that's not supposed to happen.
