Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
The man who obviously is dressed like a rapper runs with great speed down the alley after the man, Triston. However he slips around the corner and the large man looks upset at losing sight of him and lets out a scream which Franklin hears in the adjacent alley where Triston is dashing down slipping further from Franklin's grasp and ultimately sight range. "Damnit! Where the hell are you coward!"

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
Elsewhere........

Birch looks around the alley for a man he was to meet with, a wesen advocate, also known as a threat to the lives of the people he was meant to defend. He would not let this man get away from him, as it was his duty as a Grimm to remove the wesen threat.

Little did he know David Summers was not one who could be touched so easily by a shadowy meeting. It was in fact his specialty to get rid of a threat to wesen and he knew Birch was one. Unlike Birch he was not alone and one of his friends, Leona White was in the shadows bearing a rifle. The Skalenzahne was eager to use the rifle, a frightening thug who just came out jail owed a debt to Summers and would not let him down.

Birch tensely stood in the alley waiting for Summers to arrive and from the shadows he appears and Birch pulls his piece but Leona reacts quickly and shoots his hand causing Birch to drop his peace. Now they simply stare tensely at each other. One not willing to kill the other just yet.

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
Triston Tomlinson smiles from his chaser's "given up" scream. He looks to the person he was told the kidnap. Triston was used to running, and his breath is still normal, but he isn't really sure about this guy, Sung Yi.
"Pick up the pace man!" he tells Sung. "I've had 300 lb men faster than you!"
He turns a corner, heading for the car waiting for him at the other side, and he tightens his grip on Sung. His hand still has fresh ink, marking his hand onto Sung's sleeve.

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
Sung Yi is confused as he is captured. He remembers his last experience all to well and will not give in too fast and as the man moves faster he tries to fight back but as the grip gets tighter he yelps and just wishes King-Pain would find him and help him. Not wanting to go into the car he sees ahead. He gives a pleading look to the 'bum' in the alley.

There was little fanfare as Angry Orchard looked up from his usual D100 activity, IE: Lurk in Dark Alley. He was just in the middle of reading this month's Games Workshop magazine, as he saw what appeared to be a man being dragged into a car by another man by his sleeve.

The plead for help look and silence drew a cock of his head.

"...SOMEONE IS ATTEMPTING GAY RAPE! I MEAN FIRE! CALL 911! FIRE!" The bum shouted, given that he was dressed as a bum it was a safe to assume he was a bum. Though it could have been he just didn't bother dressing nice, given he seemed to be wearing a nice leather bomber jacket with fur collar.

"Oi! You with the Rape Face! Release the Asian!"
Angry demanded as he ran up while rolling up his magazine. Seemingly intent on getting involved. Though he slowed half way to them.

"Or is this just a lover's tiff? Shit be suspicious son."
He added as he held up a hand.

Imagine a pig in a blanket, only an adult version. Sausage wrapped in dough then baked. It isn't an honest kolache, but it let's me have a breakfast item with meat. Most people like them with mustard. Most everything else I sell is sweet, sticky, or highly caffeinated. Or a combination.

She smiles again, stepping away from the register and the shotgun loaded with rocksalt. Don't be shy, pick out something for breakfast, then we can talk. The donuts are still warm, I was setting them out when you drove up.

Jack selected a few donuts. "Thank you."

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
Mr. Kade, I'm going to trust you because the detective does. And that means keeping secrets. I assume you are either Wesen, or Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen.If the latter, then you must be very well informed to help a fresh Grimm. If the former, then you need to know there will be consequences if you betray my trust.

There, it needed to be said. She was still a little surprised a Grimm would bring a Wesen to a meeting to talk about Grimm.

She took a sip of coffee. First, detective, I know that Grimm are able to see Wesen when they Voge. I don't know how many different types of Wesen there are, there is always the chance of something new or very old no one knows about or remembers. I know about Grimm because I am one, and so were my parents.

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances A
I found out about you by accident. After I moved to Louisville, set up shop, I looked into another Grimm, which eventually lead me to you. As to being related, if we have a common ancestor, it wasn't this century, and probably not the one before that either.

"Probable long enough I don't qualify for the family discount?"

"What were you doing at that riot last night, do you have any idea what was going on there?"

"Kade filled me in on some of what I'm supposed to do, but could you tell me what kind of wesen population is around here. What are we likely to be dealing with regularly?"

Julie looks to the man who decided to intervene and a smug grin crosses her face, "I think what you should be asking is, where do I fall into this. I'm sure you do not fall anywhere except maybe on the ground. We were a 25 person group who looked out for eachother. We were trying to help one of our own and that went sour when the police converged on us. We got away. Before any of us start any more trouble lets agree to one thing. Nothing before this happened."

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
Family discount, no, but I'll give the cop discount.

As to the riot last night, I was mostly there because I was following you. It was time to go ahead and introduce myself, and talk to you. As to general population, I'm still relatively new to the city, I haven't found out yet.

She took a sip of coffee. Let me explain, I was raised to be a Grimm, but when I got older, I left. It wasn't what I wanted for myself. Then I watched Spider-Man and realized I can't run away from who I am. So I collected some resources I knew to be lying around, and brought them here. I tried to start a new life here in Louisville with my bakery, but I can't escape the fact I'm a Grimm.

That's why I went looking for you. I want to help. I have some books, a few weapons. I also have training.

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
I'm sorry. My mom recently died. Wesen. It's what brought me back to being a Grimm.

Saturday...I'll be here early, then I can leave. So you can pick me up, or let me know where to meet you.

She took a moment to look at him again, with a glance at Kade. I don't want to go down this road alone, but I have to tell you: I'm not fond of Wesen. I would have a happier life without them in it.

Kade stares at Allison and as she spoke he visibly relaxes but doesn't drop his guard. "I wouldn't cause you trouble as long as we have an understanding. I get some wesen are terrible but so are some Grimms. I have friends who were killed by a Grimm that were good people. The fighting is senseless and we have lost far to many to keep at it. I'm not asking full trust but what I want is simply a truce between us."

Kade stares Allison down once he finishes noting carefully what she will say next.

Re: Episode 2: Grimm Circumstances
That's good, because I don't fully trust you. I don't trust either of you, yet. I'm well aware most Wesen are like most people, they want to raise families and be part of society. They obey the law, pay taxes, and help old ladies cross the street. But some aren't that friendly. Some cross lines, and some are just outright dangerous. That's where I believe the Grimm comes in, can we agree there?

She filled a box with a variety of donuts and pastries. If you're going to the department, might as well take some goodwill. It'll also help establish how we know each other if this is your bakery of choice. Besides, it might also help me drum up more business, which is always good. She smiled at the gentlemen.

Is there anything else we need to cover today, or I need to bring Saturday?

Jack took the box. "Good idea."

"Bring a list of the books you have, we can check for duplicates and see about making copies of those we only have one of. It might be a good idea to get a scanner and put them online for easy access."

I'll bring a scanner and laptop then, so long as you have electricity where we're going. And I don't mind helping you organize this stuff, but understand I didn't seek you out to be your secretary.

"It will help both of us to combine resources and then get everything we can online. I'll help scan your stuff later so we're even."

He handed over the information he'd written down for the storage unit. "I can't think of anything else right now, so I'll see you Saturday."
