Re: Experience

Right and right.  I work this weekend, so I'll try to put things together that you'll eventually get identified (if not here, then in Redhaven), and then move the action back.  If I don't post this weekend, I will post late Monday.

Re: Experience

Sorry, been away sick a couple days... but Averdante would definitely have experimented with the command word for the cat statuette on the way back! It was stashed away as treasure, with a word written under it = high possibility of being magical.

Heh. Yeah, now that I'm not half-brain dead with the headache and exhaustion, and working solo because neither co-worker made it in -- I'll get right on that!:)

Re: Experience

As you can guess, I'd like to lay claim on the bracer... it seems to fit Dellas and the dragon likes him.

While the dagger would be nice too, I think that one of you should have it (who can use it more often)

The Golden feather I think we should keep until we really need it.. maybe we can ask for a divine favor or something.

The puffballs infused with Godsblood could be useful for either alchemy or I was thinking about weapons...
And actually I also think that we should keep the shiny stones and crystals... in case of Ogre

Also, I don't plan on attempting to grow one yet, but I will try to store them in the best way possible to keep the spores viable.

Re: Experience

Lantamori has no interest in any of the items for herself.

We also have the 12 healing gourds from the town to split.  Probably 1 each and the rest to Farian?

Re: Experience

I wouldn't mind having 2 gourds, splitting the extras between the two combat support characters. Someone double check my math, this would give everyone 1, me 2, and Farian 3.

Another option is to split the extras between Volsh and Bruenor, so the front line fighters have a means for healing themselves when Farian or I am otherwise occupied. ... When I bother to prep a healing spell, that is. ;)

Re: Experience

LOL Of course, the next round, the hobgoblin has that surprised expression and sooty look common to cartoon characters who were standing at ground zero when something explodes....

Averdante is definitely taken with the cat figurine... that whole cats & curiosity thing, you know. ;)

Hahaha, it would of course be a cunning ruse to allow Averdante or Abby to finish the hobgoblin off before he can get too close to Dellas :P

Re: Experience

You read my mind in asking its name. Narthian is obviously a dog person, so was never going to keep the figurine, but I hope to find out many things about this fascinating cat for you. It all depends on the interpretation of Speak with Animals. :)

Yeah, I have to go re-read some stuff before I update all willy-nilly and contradict myself on the stuff I wrote two years ago...

Re: Experience

Agreed on that. When I first discovered RPoL and started exploring, I found this game and started reading during the attack on the goblin camp. It was an intriguing story, with creative, subtle features, and I thought it was exactly the kind of game I'd like to get in on.

Then within a few weeks of finding it, it was advertised in Players Wanted, looking for people to adopt a couple orphaned characters -- including the one I'd most want to run. It was my first experience using 3.5, too (so I'm really glad it was an adoption rather than creating from scratch!).
