Probably a good idea to reread the info on our Guild in the "Your Adventurers' Guild and the Low'verok Guild System" thread.

Re: Experience

If Sir Aberlayne can keep Dellas from spouting out "Flaming Fists!" without consulting the rest for a group name, it would be an interesting topic to cover over breakfast.  It's getting late and we've had a long ride.

Flaming Fists? No no no... "Flaming balls" Or "Fiery Nine" "Nine lives of fire"? "Red hot Chillie Fires?" "Fire, Fire & Fire?"

Re: Experience

Hey all, apologies for the slow posting.  Real life catches up to you once in a while. :-)

I love the pace, the story, and the players here.  Very enjoyable, thanks to all present, and a special shout out to our fantastic DM.  I was new to PbP gaming a couple years ago, and am still going strong in 2 long-running adventures - this being one of them.  Things don't last this long unless they're well-run and well-played.

Bruenor will definitely take an extra healing gourd if Dellas is sure he'll go without.  His eyes keep drifting back to that magnificent suit of armor, too.  He's not sure if it's too presumptuous or fancy for a travelling adventurer, but he could certainly use an upgrade over his chainmail (+1 as it may be).

Isn't Bruenor more of a DEX swordman? Wouldn't heavy armor impede his movement?

Glad all and sundry is liking it.  This game gives me the opportunity to do some creative things!  :D

He started that way, but quite some time ago when I inherited him, he evolved a bit (with our DM's blessing) to more of a straight ahead swordsman.  He found he liked the heft of a longsword over that of a rapier.

Re: Experience

We'll say Farian will carry anything that isn't claimed from the list this week to finish it off.  So grab what you want to carry from what's left.

Lantamori will take the dragon dagger and an antitoxin.

Dellas can carry the feather and the puffballs to figure out what they do.

I'd also think that Farian may buy back the sun pendant on the silver chain from his share.

Given his habits and luck, Dante's definitely going to want an anti-toxin, too. He'll likely need it sooner than later!

Re: Experience

I think everyone knows, but just to be clear, Sir Aberlayne is an NPC, and I've been running Farian and Haazheel for a while because their players dropped out.  While I'm not actively looking for players at the moment, if anyone has a buddy who wants to take over our cleric or other wizard, I'd be open to that.

But for now...

Farian will indeed want the crystal sun.  Likely that will go towards his temple tithe.  He'll take an antitoxin too, so that he'll have one (or more) on hand in case administering it is necessary.

Haazheel doesn't have any particular interest in any of the treasure beyond the monetary value, though he wouldn't mind an antitoxin on top of the healing gourds we got from Fen-on-the-Fen.  He'd like to use his share of the gold to scribe some scrolls for future use in our adventures.

Abby will happily have those expeditious retreat potions so she can save Dellas (and all and sundry) faster.  ;)

Do we have a total yet of the coin each person is getting?

One of the scouts/sneaky people should get the invisibility potion.

Fine with the NPC acquisitions.  Lantamori isn't interested in the invisibility.  Perhaps Averdante?

Re: Experience

I'm cool with scroll scribers and potion makers getting an extra share of cash. That said, I do neither.

Money doesn't mean a whole lot to Nartian. He's mostly in this business for the hunting. :)

Re: Experience

You know, it occurred to me that a party member who might get good use out of that invisibility potion might be Thunder or Mystique.  If either go scouting, that gives one a huge edge in not being detected.

Re: Experience

That thought had crossed my mind, though I would defer to Mystique having it. Narthian would likely join Thunder in scouting, part of the reason I built Narthian with the Endurance and Run feats. Together we can outrun most of the trouble that we get into. :)

Re: Experience

Some of the art objects you will have to find a buyer for (the cloth-of-gold crown, more specifically) but the rest can be sold to businesses in town with a morning's work for the standard 1/2 rate for weapons and armor, 3/4 for most other things (more with a Diplomacy or associated Profession/Craft check).  If there's any straight barter you want to do for things (one kind of weapon or another, gems for scrolls or potions) that's also a possibility.
