I'll intercede here, I suppose. A lot has been going on behind the scenes, but it's on the up-and-up.

Without revealing too much in an OOC channel, you guys aren't the only ones with proprietary communication channels :)

Chronologically speaking, here's what happened:

1) Muse dropped off Billy/Kayla/Redford at about the same time Xander/Abraxas reached the bottom of the initial elevator shaft into the mines, which is about the same time Rebecca encountered the sphere. She failed her stealth check, and her approach was detected.

2) Muse took a smaller, faster vehicle out of the Docking Bay and covered the distance between the Bay and the lab's intended entrance point (which none of you have found thus far). During this time, Billy deals with Mr. Dunlap, cools his heels waiting for a more important call; Xander/Abraxas make their way to the edge of the bore hole in the mines; and Rebecca defeats Olsen in combat and begins her interrogation.

3) Muse takes a fishhook elevator into the lab itself. He arrives about the same time that Billy finishes his chat with Charles; Xander/Abraxas makes it to the edge of the sphere and establishes contact with Rebecca; and Rebecca continues to interrogate Dr. Olsen, who is intentionally taking forever to answer Rebecca's questions because she is stalling for time.

4) Muse enters the room. Shit hits the fan.

Let me know if the timeline doesn't make sense; I'll smooth out any wrinkles as best I can!

As a reminder, while you can't spontaneously manifest awesome new powers in the field, you certainly CAN attempt to spontaneously use new FEATS associated with your existing powers when the situation calls for it. Doing so requires a natural red roll, though, so it's rarely successful.
