Not much better than I did before.  the goal seems to be get the drop on them, but the liklihood of that seems low.  They can't exactly get backup in a hurry though, right?

Muse can disarm the two guards in plain sight. Or he could create a local diversion that would draw those guards away, leaving just the two in the core to deal with. In terms of damage output, most I can muster per turn is 60 -- Timon does that much w/ his gun, but is useless otherwise.

Would Sophia know how much time is left on the timer?? Those doors close and we've got it easier. I'm concerned about the guards in the core hearing our scuffle.

I'm concerned with all four guards expecting us and taking a concerted effort to shoot us before you can even close to melee.

At this point we need the core OR to abandon plan. Something is attacking the ship and drawing serious blood. Maybe we trust external forces to wax Faust and we call our suicide run as a success? Head for the hangar...

Just because we're here doesn't mean we're committed. And this was never a sterling decision to begin with.

Running through the ship in hopes that there's a shuttle or something we can commandeer and that we can fly it past whatever's trying to kill Faust's ship unscathed doesn't seem like a sounder plan.

To be a little more robust w my doom and gloom: Muse saw an engagement with the guards turn out super bad. Timon dies, Abraxas eats it, and everything is on fire.

It's a straight line. You could see down there if you poked out your head, but then you'd risk being seen yourself.

Also, I'm only half-paying attention to the amgine stuff since I'm not there, but it sounds like whatever agreement we make with them is going to get fucked up very quickly.  Possibly because of a member of the party.

hence why I'm asking that member of the party.  I'm terrified right now, and even if we do manage to pull this out of our ass and ride in at the head of a horribly beweaponed Amgine battle fleet then we have to somehow get the IDA/UN/Government on board with a treaty negotiated and ratified by a 13 year old girl who can't even sign a contract to buy a house and a known terrorist... so there's that too.

You don't need to do that -- I'm planning to evolve Muse yet again, this time into a tank/utility type. Nightmare has good damage output and good crowd control. Muse is one part her, one part Abraxas, and one part Fiernas. Jack of all, master of none, etc.
