The trick is to never roll for anything significant!

Several people pinged me about this, so I'll clarify:

Standard climbing checks require Strength. If you fail, you fall. That's when Agility comes into play, to try to arrest your fall.

If you have powers that might help (like maybe a personal bubble field), you can roll the power instead of your strength.

Do handholds/ladder/rope etc. negate the need for this?

You don't have to roll for trivial things (climbing ladders is such a thing), unless it's a particularly dangerous climb (mile-high ladder, you're climbing at night during a wild thunderstorm, you're under active fire, etc.)

Billy's go-to has been kneecaps. I feel like the severity of that approach is severely escalated with a one-legged species, so take it as you will.

I love Roger trying to rank all the fucked up shit that's happened to him, while I know Billy has registered everything from flying bear monsters to inter-species politics as "Yeah, alien shit" with equal severity.
