If this whole brain parasite surgery thing is really going to happen I just want to chime in that I feel like Rebecca at least might recognize that Briggs dying or also being rendered comatose would undermine the whole point of bringing him back.  Just want that out there in light of how Ibis’s operation went when it comes to risk assessment and maybe doing any kind of non-invasive scanning before resorting to a scalpel in a definitely not sterile environment now that we’re down one magical faith healer.

I don't think Roger's gonna let Nightmare cut on him before imaging. Where we're at now, Roger assumes Nightmare will try another telepathic approach before they make any surgical decisions and the "rendering unconscious" thing was just to assess the nature of Briggs's resistance.

Genuinely thought Frank’s plan was to jump one and then we shoot but this misunderstanding doesn’t seem funny enough to actually play out.
