No worries. We will just retcon post #24 through 28 in the Parnast thread. Should be easy enough. Nothing major happened in those posts yet.

meiou:
Sorry about that n.n;; I get hooked on something and forget to mention others.  bad habbit im trying to break

It is at least clear that aren't deliberately doing it, but it does get frustrating the longer it goes on.

You're still small change compared to some of the more outlandish examples I've had at least.

Why, I bet if I were six story tall cyborg firing a plasma flamethrower at a demon army, you just might notice faster than the entire party asking what happened to it.

(And probably wouldn't retcon "resolve" it to me narrowly missing all the teammates, who were behind me at the time.)

Pan Flute:
Tark: I continue to shed tears for your sitcom levels of bad luck with restaurants.

This year's thanksgiving went very well for everyone on that front.  Nobody had to use the thanksgiving menus as plates for the appetizers or anything.

I have put: This post didn't happen above posts 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in the Parnast thread so that people can either keep the posts there or copy-paste them elsewhere, but for all intents and purposes, they didn't happen.

Understood.  So what's the turn order for that particular thread?  Just so I'll know.

And can Jamie be put in here as well, or would that be too soon?  Things I need to know before I post.

Re: The Heads up thread

Jamie is in the Togetherness thread. If you want her in the Parnast thread, it will not be the same Jamie that is in the Togetherness thread and she will have not met Tark.

So yes, feel free to introduce who you want in the Parnast thread, just keep in mind it isn't the same universe as the Togetherness thread. :)

Re: The Heads up thread

Yeah, if you do post a fresh Jamie in Parnast thread, that's a fresh copy. The Jamie in the Togetherness thread will still be in the Togetherness thread, not leaving it. Even if you post for Jamie in the Parnast thread (Or post about Panast in the togetherness thread).

As for posting sequence, I figure you and Meiou deserve some time to replace what's been lost in the process of getting that across.

Since it's been dialed back to basically right after I made my first post there, so me going right now would be not giving you guys a chance to respond to eachother and others.

Funny enough, I'm used to being one of the people with the LEAST branching characters or duplicates in a given group.

I was worried too many posts would go on before I had a chance.

This is why I was about to quit.  I can RP if we're going to stick to a strict post order.  Thanks for handling this, Tim!  :)

I'm glad for the color coding with multiple squirrels run by you in the same place.  Even if I admit my eyeballs prefer colors just being for speech and thought balloons, it's a big help.

Most of my sudden character name dyslexia is oddly when talking about my own characters.

David Foxfire:
Jamie's Hex is her primary defense spell, although she's prone to use it on people she believes deserve it.  Mechanically, it imposes Disadvantage (even overridding any Advantage) on any d20 roll, and can be used as a reaction to an attack.  She can do this once/turn, up to her WIS/Rest.

What can I say? she loves seeing people roll Nat 1s and seeing the results.  Finds it hilarious.

Ooh, I really like the overall intentions of that ability.  Though right now it reads like a high level fully upgraded version someone forgot to write "Long" in front of "Recharges on Rests" (like most "Ability mod uses" abilities get).

Long rest plus bumping the advantage bypass to a mid level upgrade, and you'd have something still strong as hell but looking more like something that came out of the core book.

One buff that comes to mind to make it more unique (and ease the pain of it not being a short rest spammable) would be adding a further penalty to the rolls you debuff.

Quarter Witch level rounded down should do it.  Less is lame, More is overkill scaling. Gives a nice final boost in power at lv 20.

Plus encourages sticking with witch levels instead of more common "I only multiclassed two levels into Warlock for Eldritch blast+Cha, goodbye forever Warlock!" situations.

Convenient and plentiful auto hit disadvantage application is basically "Oh my god, I want that", the power. Were you putting Witch out there for public usage rather than using it for personal gaming, I'd bump that ability up to a lv 3-5 unlock just so people don't treat your witch as a quick 1 level power up.

(My comparison skimming is still all wound up more than usual.  Because the past few days, a friend of mine has been asking my opinions on homebrew 5th ed supplements.
And oh boy, they really "3rd party supplements is a dirty word" with some of what he's asked me to look over)

Re: The Heads up thread

Yeah i decided on doing color coded to make it easier for people to know who was in my posts. I'm the pink doesnt help matters any XD.

i know when creating sassy i was really wracking my brain trying to decide on class since yknow when making a PC you technically need a class. figured oh hey bards are kinda jacks of all trades. that could work for a merchant/barkeep/barmaid/storekeep XD.

Bard sounds great for that, because at the very least you can end up with some of the highest skill bonuses ever eventually for if you ever get asked to roll for your price gouging.  (Useless facts: Battle Master is my favorite fighter type anyways, but they also get freebie Artisan proficiency so hey, free town construction qualifications for your fighter!)

Despite my WALL OF TEXT I'm hardly an expert on 5th ed.  But I've got such a long track record of watching basic balancing wildly swerve around in general, that certain things stand out to me.

Often futile trying to convince people there is a legitimate problem though, even in the most esoteric of genres.  Such as pathing bugs in theme park games.

Two "Sa-" names. XD I have a friend named David Edmondson and he has a younger brother named Daniel. I wound up sending an email to one instead of the other because their names look so identical on the screen that unless I exert mental effort to pay more attention than normal, I can't tell them apart.

Side note, I can see halflings and rabbitfolk being immune to the hex because "I can reroll 1's, yo."

Thankfully, you never fight halflings/rabbitfolk because they are not the kind to be evil NPCs. Normally.

I got invited to a family get-together this coming Friday, so I won't be here for any sessions.  The next session will be scheduled for Jan 6.

(But then again, wouldn't any of you have such get-together this time of year?)
