Re: The Heads up thread

Is Meiou trying to write himself completely out of roleplay? I am trying to understand what you want out of this RP if your first goal is to look for any excuse to not be with the team?

Basically, unless you have some trick you can pull, Zerry is going to outrun you guaranteed. (She's a centaur and she is fast even for a centaur) But if you were hoping to escape, I'm not going to forcefully have Zerry track you down, pounce you, etc.

But if you do escape, how do you intend to be part of the RP? I need to understand what your intent is.

Re: The Heads up thread

sorry about that. I get an idea into my and run with it without thinking lol.
the main goal right now is i'm trying to get him alone so jamie can have her private talk with him. Not easy when everyone wants your character around.

Re: The Heads up thread

Oh. Huh... for some reason, I thought that talk already happened. XD I'll have Zerry and friends lose you due to Meiou having some quick thinking that involved turning a corner and hiding among some alleyway garbage or some such.

Zerry is freakishly fast and hyper, but sometimes all it takes is one second of being out of line of sight. XD

Just do me a favor and take care of your one-on-one RP with Jamie immediately (whether in a PM or a separate thread) and quickly, so we can all get back to RPing together.

Re: The Heads up thread

GM Tim is making a separate thread for Pyrus, Tark and Zerry to RP in order to reduce confusion while Meiou and Jamie play out their private RP. And then both RPs can meet back in a new thread once everyone is ready.

Meiou appears more upset about people trying to interact with him than being put inside a living prison. I can't even. I have lost the ability to even. XD

So I guess Tark's second post with the phrase 'Oh no! Social interaction!' turned out to be not quite as baseless a joke as intended.

Even it if was supposed to be poking fun at the fact I'm playing a CHA 14 Half-Orc  who acts like it, instead of my usual 'Even when I take high Charisma, I'm not very charismatic' character tendencies.

Has any of you have a plush toy or a pet in your bed as a child?

I've had both, though pet in my bed came when I was about 20 years old. Still collect plushies to this day, though. :)

Re: The Heads up thread

So I was talking with Tim about finally getting around to importing a Tark or Parnast stuff.

They suggested "Tark could track down Pan to ask her to follow him for treating the injury of some idiot who didn't listen to your safety instructions" Which sounds like a good way to start off.

Just a heads-up; Chris and I won't be able to attend the Friday game due to extended Thanksgiving activities. :) I do apologize for the short notice, but this plan literally got put together today.

So if Meiou's just jumping into the thread Parnst thread, I guess that means I'll get around to that later tonight with the above suggestions from Pan.

The point of the RP threads has been for all of us to enjoy RP together, so I'm glad you jumped in. Sorry I didn't make that clearer, Meiou.

Re: The Heads up thread

So. Just so we're clear.

David, Meiou. You are aware Tim's thread is it's own thing, right?  Parnast thread isn't the same setting as Tim's thread (not to mention was made after Tim's thread).

Or were you originally intending to vacate Tim's thread in favor of your Parnast thread anyways, and that's the whole reason Jamie's been suggesting people go to Parnast so hard?

Ulp!  I thought we were supposed to have everybody end up in Parnast eventually.

Re: The Heads up thread

Let's sort this stuff before further posts happen:

- Parnast was for just RPing Pan, Justin and whoever else wanted to in Parnast, fixing up the town.

- Togetherness, as the title indicated, is supposed to be Jamie, Meiou, Zerry, Tark and Pyrus go on some adventure. We can still have them in Parnast, but it won't be the same Parnast as is seen in the Parnast thread.

- I screwed up Pan's post (It is edited with the correction now, but might be moot anyway because retcon needs happening) because I was trying to answer way too many people at once, way too quickly because I was worried too many posts would go on before I had a chance. As a result, I forgot to respond to Tark. Soooo...

- We need a Post order. That means when it is your turn to post, you post. For example: In the Togetherness thread, Jamie posts. Now it is Meiou's turn. After he posts, it is Tark's turn. Then Pyrus. Then Zerry. That way, everyone gets their say before a new round of posts.

- Lastly, I was trying to be GM for the Togetherness thread. Don't mind David GMing the thread he obviously suggested, but Togetherness is the one I have in mind to run. Just so we know who is running what and why. :)

Thankfully, the only retcon that needs to happen is Jamie/Meiou arriving in the Parnast thread. To be fair, this would also mean we don't control millions of characters all at once.

Re: The Heads up thread

Add to the above: Along those lines, Tark and Pyrus both feel they have been pretty much ignored all RP long in both RPs. This is especially illustrated by the fact Pyrus' name was mentioned zero times in any of David/Meiou's posts in the intro thread. The only time Pyrus' posts were even referenced was when Jamie made a comment about the prisoner, but after that was nothing.

I am fielding this topic for them both for three reasons: 1) They both feel they would be ignored anyway, 2) They both feel I would say things in a nicer way, and 3) I am GM in Togetherness thread, so kinda my responsibility anyhow.

They both felt the sudden time shift to night time when it was mid-day was already a bit of a forced write-out for them, but latest issue that has me fielding things for them is the fact Tark showed up and mentioned about someone having a broken ankle, but the characters pretty much all acted like he hadn't said anything. As mentioned in the post above, I myself forgot and edited my post (but again, we should probably retcon to where Jamie entered the scene and write that group out of the RP; except Tark. Tark wants to play Tark, just that the two threads are happening in alternate realities)

In short, please make an extra effort to respond to Tark and Pyrus' characters. Thanks.

Re: The Heads up thread

As well, derailing the Togetherness thread would also recton my Parnast post out of existence basically. It's a bit hard for Tark to report workplace accidents of Justin's staff, if I'm retconned to have never existed yet.

So. I'm still kind of in a forced upon me time paradox even with Tim's current attempts to salvage things. With David making recton declarations after I posted.

Pan Flute:
2) They both feel I would say things in a nicer way,

So very, very, very this.

"Justin sees Tark!" oh cool- "And MY Character, Jamie is right next to him!"

*Cut to a dunkin donuts* I said give me another Iced Mocha!
