Æthercoil: Pyrus, Tark, Zerry
"Thank you, Pyrus. Though I'm hardly having to go out of my way to be nice to a nice girl." Tark does appreciate the comment, even if he can't help but downplay it's worth in his own mind.
"Well Zerry, they might just need the more boring but common stuff for ingredients and components. But the more esoteric casters I've dealt with occasionally have a bad habit of also growing dangerous plants and then forgetting to properly label them or inform the hired help. Which is part of why I've been trying to find out more about the supposed job."
Or make normally safe things dangerous for oddly specific reasons. Collect tree twigs? Well that's probably going to go better than-Wait, trees struck by lightning?... Oh, so that's why there's a magical storm cloud over the tower-ow...
"But from the sound of things, they might not even have a place to put a garden yet. So either they want to shop around for someplace to build a home, or find some other less socially acceptable caster and steal their place." Makes as much sense as stealing anything from enemies while adventuring, if much less convenient to travelers.
