Later on the day in the current timeline (1 Jan 2019) Jamie is in her lair, reading up on her spells.  Alongside her, everything's ready for when Meiou is ready to be her warlock proper, including the mat with the magic circle with candles all around, a purple robe and wide brin witch's hat his size, and a chest laid out to the side.

'He said he wanted to do it officially, I just need to be patient enough for him to be ready.'

In reply to David Foxfire (msg # 1):

The rabbit yawned stretching out coming on into the lai"you might want to practice your telepathy. you've been muttering to me for the past hour. "

He arched a brow at the robe and hat "look you might be able to convince sarah to wear that but i'm going to have to take a hard pass. "

In reply to meiou (msg # 2):

"Oops, sorry about that," Jamie said.  As for the robe she said, "Well, you need to have something that represents my coven.  Maybe I'll let you decide the style."

In reply to David Foxfire (msg # 3):

He sighed and went to sit down near her "dont you have anything else like a necklace, or ring or something like that? i mean i guess i can wear it if its just for this but out in the field I much prefer my own clothes. "

In reply to meiou (msg # 4):

"The robe's just for private rituals," Jamie said.  "But I can easily offer you a pendant after this."

In reply to David Foxfire (msg # 5):

"Sounds good. I can manage with that. So what now?" he asked picking up the robe to put on

In reply to meiou (msg # 6):

Jamie pulls out a lacquered wooden case.  She then kneels down to the mat that had a mystic circle weaved into it.  She sets the case to the side.

"What we're going to do is a bit of a blood-bonding ritual, much like what how I got into the coven myself.  It basically set up a mentor-apprentice link between us, similar to a Warlock pact."

She opens it to reveal an athame dagger, a crimson sash, and a bottle of fluid.

"It's through this bonding where I can connect with you mentally.  My mentor, Mother Silverhair Wintertouch, made it so I can become her daughter, something I needed since I was found alone.  But with how this works, you'll be sort of a familiar to me.  I'll be able to see and hear through your eyes and ears and be able to channel my magic through you.  It's through that where I'll teach you magic, and it'll be much quicker than how I'd do Igatho."

She settles herself in place.  "Oh, it won't cut too deep, and that fluid's there to sanitize and anesthetize where we'll be slashing"

the rabbit nodded and listened to her as she set things out and explained everything to him.
"I kinda wish Pip had done something simaler for me wihtout all the 'extras' i went through. "

Jamie tiled his head.  "What do you mean, extras?"

he coughed and blushed looking away "how to be a cute girl and grab someones attention so as to mug them for instance." he really didn't much like talking about this other things pip had trained him in. they were a sort of guilty pleasure of sorts.

In reply to meiou (msg # 10):

"I'd thought that you'd like being a cute girl.  But at least I won't have you cater to some perverted rabbit's kinks."  She took the knife and a sash.  "I intend to do that to Pippkin.  He definitely deserves to knock him down a peg or two."

She then holds out her hand for Meiou.  "Ready?"

he rolled his eyes at jamie's comments "Look its not that i have an issue with being cute girl its the things he made me do with him that i have an issue with." he shook his head listening further "As i'll ever be."

In reply to meiou (msg # 12):

Jamie then took the blade and made a slash across Meiou's palm, just enough for it to bleed, and not much beyond that.  Then she does the same to herself.  She places his hands on hers and wraps a sash around to bind the two together.

She then held his other hand and says, "Try to follow along the best you can," and starts to chant.

The rabbit nodded and listened to Jamie trying his best to follow her words with the same words and sounds she made.

As Meiou kept chanting...at first he found it easier and easier to follow along...and then it felt like he was doing it without thinking about it...and as his eyes started to droop, he felt like he's...it's strange...it's as if he were a costume and someone's pulling him on...as if Jamie is wearing him!

His voice kept going along the chant, almost as if the chant is using him, as his voice bend around hers like two cords winding into a rope.  Her voice now appearing as if it came from inside him, rather than into his ears from outside.

He felt his arms fall free as he floats himself up, power more immense than he thought possible flowing through his hands, his arms, his whole body as if he was about to burst.

Suddenly, the chanting stopped.  And he stood there nearly frozen.  His eyes closed, his lips still mouthing the words for a bit longer, his blood warm and cool at the same time and his head feels like there's someone else in it.

He heard her voice in his head.  That's it.  We're connected.  I need to let the surge level off a bit before we continue.  Just stay there for a bit.
