Adventure of Wyvern Tor
Mithra was always an early-riser, unless maybe she was recovering from wounds. Breakfast was being served and she had her share of scrambled eggs, ham and fried potatoes, bread, cheese and nuts. She wasn't expecting it to be an arduous trip, but it looked to be long, and she didn't know when she'd next get a decent meal.
She didn't have a horse. There weren't too many of those that came with the wagons that had a horse. As she thought back, she actually couldn't recall if anyone had a horse.
She associated riding horses with nobility... trying to put themselves above everyone else without every doing an ounce of work in their lives. Owning a horse also meant money. She didn't have enough to buy a horse... yet.
You also had to take care of a horse. She took care of herself; no time or energy for anyone else.
As the others began gathering outside the Inn, the number of people going on this orc-hunt finally registered! It was starting to look like a mob. They were going to need some organization, even if was a loose organization, if no other reason than to keep from killing each other!
"Yo, people!" she called out. She wasn't sure she'd remember everyone's name anyway. "We got any rangers or scouts in our midst?"
"I'm just asking cause they should be out in front. It's been my experience that the spell-casters should stay in the middle."
"What about archers? We got any of those?"
