I was going to get the shoes with the curved toes with a bell at the end but sadly they didn't carry my size.

Picturing those on super-serious Ero is rather funny.

There is a large, serious lawyer in our area that wears the leprechaun shoes.  So terribly hard to not chuckle.

Ero, I'll shoot one of the 24h healing elixirs to you, to save your long-term ones.
Victor has one, so that should cover us off.

Did we scan the stuff we picked up from the beholder?  I can't find anything that says we did.

The spirit guardian thing?  Negative.  We picked up a mace and armour, never ID'd.

I was keeping track of damage on a note pad, and as near as I can tell, Ezguar's Magic Missile spell was calculated into the damage on bugbear #3--the one Mithra was fighting.

I do remember taking it into account, as he named each Magic Missile! I just missed posting it up.


As for Mithra, she entered the mine down 11 points after her fight with the Orcs outside and after a rest to recover some.

She took two hits from the bugbears, each for 11 points of damage, so she's currently sitting at 3 hp. Is that how you've got it, Mithra?

DM, are we to presume ID'd materials are discussed/relayed in detail, or not?

I.e. - Should Nixon say, "Yup, gimme dat der magicked mace" or "Yo, Ero, f'snizzle m'nizzle - what's the dealio on the bugsquatters?" and post accordingly?

I had fun coming up with names. I figured my nature gnome friend here would be the kind to befriend insects found in his local area. Cause gnomes are fun like that.

I've always gamed that anything I post for everyone to see is relayed by whoever knows it. If for some reason you want that to be secret, you should send me a PM letting me know.

ahhh see I'm just used to games were it benefits my rolls to be private so gm can make rulings as they see fit without others being upset at rolls.

When I lie to you all or try to hide something, I usually roll for it and post those, so then you other players can figure out whether your character would care, or how they'd react, etc.
 I figure this game won't go long enough for me to try to keep something secret for a big reveal in a year, so I might as well put most cards on the table on, although I do have a big secret that I'll reveal if this game goes for a year... ;)

Vic, although I, as a player, would love to use a magicked weapon over mundane, it made more sense IC that he would yield it to Vic... also as new(er) guy in our group, it's a poor salutation to the existing party to swan in and take the only magical weapon.

Sadly the armour's a downgrade, and the spellbook's not going to help me either.

On the positive, it was a great couple rooms for you and Ero, so go team! :)

I do know that keeping the two groups in same thread has been distracting, especially since we are all not labelling our posts by group. I am still in and am sorting it but it is not easy.

It seems like the mace and the armor might better fit members of the other party, but at least the mace is a slight upgrade for me, and even more when facing undead.

Please remember to post what group you're in when you post. For a newbie, it helps me a ton to keep things separate and know what my character should "know" :D

That's the way I read it - joining us, challenged by whomever NPCd is by the tunnel.

And DM, Nixon is collecting the booty and bringing it with us.
If we had time before Raus arrived, Nixon would have shared the coin out.

Yes, the Dwarves are joining Victor's Group. The Baroun and Berath line was for their benefit. And it was Cunaar who challenged them.

Sorry Baroun. I'm gonna have to ask you to change your name to "not Berath." If it gets too confusing, we'll call you Baroun for short ;P
