If I was an evil GM, there would be a ring to rule them all. Group already knows about a mysterious drow who built up and planned the orc army. What if the rings were given to all the orc lieutenants? The rings also had the ability to let the leadership talk to one another to plan strategy and tactics at a distance? What if there was a Greater Ring that could communicate to them all?

Took the liberty of distributing the rings since everybody doesn't seem to want anything. With Grey Willem and Theirastra not posting for a month, we can switch things up if they come back...

I guess we can sell anything that's unclaimed. The headband might be bloody useful for roleplay purposes if we know we are getting into a situation where we need someone as charismatic as Nemeia as her foil :)

If we are planning for merged distribution the ring of protection is one of very few items on the list I could even use, but if someone else desperately needs it I don't.

I think distribution is better than focus. I am sure Nemeia will do havoc with that belt. But she will be single. And her attitude did so far not really suggest group loyalty.
I do really promote giving that Belt of Strength to Mythra instead. That way, we have two powerful melee combattants rather than one overwhelmingly powerful.
That's a bit of a mix of IC and OOC I guess. The IC Part will be Artagel's thoughts only, he is not long enough among the group to say anything aloud, especially since he got a very powerful item himself.

I don't mind. Everyone seems to want to leave it all and not seem too greedy. Mithra sems to be more laid back and will choose whatever is left, whereas Nemeia is more actively wanting it for her nefarious plans.

I hate loot taking weeks, so I'm just trying to gently push it along. I'm sure Nemeia and Mithra will work something out between them.

Weirdly, due to the way 5e works, belts of giant strength (21) may not even provide much of a benefit after level 4 if the player had stats geared to their prime attribute.

I can totally understand why it might not have been jumped upon yet, just like the charisma item!

I am TOTALLY willing to be a Str Monk instead of a Dex Monk, haha.

I also have a 12 Charisma and am trained in....absolutely NO social skills, LOL!

SSHHHH cook! You are ruining my plan. The plan was going to do some....roleplaying...no nonsense glaring and some choice words to give the monk the belt but...I agree. We should spread the damage around and Mithra would be a good choice but....the cook does not have a magical weapon hence lower damage output out of everyone with a weapon. :)

I agree. More damage output from different sources. It would be a horrible day if Nemeia was charmed to attack the group. *evil grin*

And so far, The Paladin of Vengeance seems more like a lonewolf and that was by design. She had been trained and told she was to die alone fighting evil most of her life. Maybe time and roleplaying will change that? She was dumped onto the group, so trust has to be earned on both sides as both of their paths coincide so far, and plans has been made to keep the reason going.

Ok. My final word on the Loot distribution.

Mithra can go ahead and take the belt. I just wanted to do some fun roleplaying to give the monk the belt. No telling what kind of fun chaos a monk with a 21 strength would do. :)

The great thing about this thread is that you can roleplay exactly that :)

It's better to roleplaying with meaning and not fanfiction. The decision is in Mithra's court.

I feel seen. Selgar and I wouldn't dream of taking anything before properly contributing but it's nice to be on a list!

It would be nice if Nemeia actually was able to get a ranged weapon item that the Curse would not effect but oh well. The group is so large now, if anyone is to get anything, it would have to be tailor made by class most of the time. Thats one disadvantage for having such a large group.

Now, I am about to type up a difficult post that will drain me mentally and emotionally. Going to be a wild ride. :)
