RTJ

Herein you'll find a number of posting guidelines, as well as the guidelines for submitting an RTJ to begin your adventures in the thrilling world of the Hollow Earth!

RTJ

I'm not looking for anything especially fancy here. Please provide me with a statement of age and a brief background of your roleplaying experience. As for a character concept, just a brief outline of who your character is, what s/he is like, and how they fit-in to the world.  Try to write it in as fun and engaging a style as possible to spark my interest, and make me want to add you to this game!

Game Feel/Posting Guidelines/Style Points/XP/Etc...

Let's start this off by saying that if you're looking for a gritty, serious tale of survival, you're in the wrong place.  If you're looking for daring, thrilling, pulpy action-adventure with high stakes and heroes who are truly heroic, then you are definitely in the right place.  While this game will certainly involve no small amount of conflict and violence, I ask that we all try to keep it fun and pulpy!  If you contribute well to the atmosphere, you will certainly be rewarded with Style Points and perhaps even extra XP.

I will guarantee one post per week that will advance the story.  If the posting rate among players is higher, I will adapt, especially during conversation/social interaction scenes, where it's not so crucial that everybody be able to post before I reply.  I ask that you choose a font/color style for your character's speech to make it pop out of the text box, and contain it in quotations.  Thoughts that you want your character to think should be in Italics!

"If yer talkin', y'all might wanna type like this."
But, if yer thinkin', you can get rid of those fancy quotation marks, and make the writing all tilty-like.

Style points will be awarded generously for good role-playing, and especially for humor and daring feats of thrilling heroism.  In addition to Style Point awards, I will award a small amount of XP at the end of every scene.  Generally only 1-5 points, with possible bonuses for being awesome, or for especially dangerous scenes.

That being said, as the Game Master, I reserve the right to be as arbitrary as I like!
BWAHAHAHAHAAA!
