A big hands together for continuous posters of Rael Gol and Viktor.
Khazim is somewhat back (with brief intermissions by myself)

Here is where I started counting from last year.
Lars had gone through changes by this point.
Technically Eclair also went through changes as well.
Cirok is no longer with us.
Hraal is no longer with us.

Berta and Angrboda have been with us for over a year at this point. (Sometime around May of 2015)


That brings the PC death toll to. . . only 4, Not bad. I think I need to raise that though if I want to REALLY get into the spirit of Elric.
Then again if you add in the NPC allies... that only really brings in Valmir, ok, I need more meaningful NPC deaths...

So you are saying that I need to take on apprentices so that you have sorcerers to kill off?  lol.

Um ... is this a bad time to mention that Berta had been thinking of asking Angrboda to teach her something of the ways of magic ?  <grins>

Wow ... has it really only been that short a time since I started playing here ?  Effusive thanks to our illustrious GMs and you marvellous players ... this is a wonderful game and I've been having a ball !  :>

I'll be honest. I'm impressed that this game is nearing the 3000 mark. I just wish my first game had this much staying power. Post-apocalypse style games have far to many critics.

That is impressive. Most games here don't see 300 posts, let alone 3000!

Yes, it's time for a change of face!    From the beginning, I'd wanted to use a picture, rather than a drawing, like the other human characters in the story.   But, couldn't find anything else.  Finally did.   (In general, I hate avatars;  they never look quite like I see the character..)

I think I need to raise that though if I want to REALLY get into the spirit of Elric.

Yes, no kidding.   And, unfortunately, being female don't improve the odds.  Women routinely come to bad ends, in those books.

Well I for one, would play in any game you ran (if it was a system I liked,,,lol).

So dare I ask how many bad guys have we taken out in the last 2 years?  Yes our first Rpol game didnt go over well. Most people want fighting only, which being Viktor I do enjoy but that is only part of the game.

 Yeah, I have found that too.  I have found that combat actually slows the game down drastically.

That is one reason why I like this system. Combat is "fast and deadly" for the most part. With the limited healing factor you really have to decide... Do I REALLY want to get into a fight?

99% of the time I do NOT....lol.  Angrboda isn't really an in your face fighter....:)

Err ... Rose (Von Bek, by marriage) did OK, but she's the only one that springs to mind.  The good news (for me) is that she was a redhead too !  :>

Am not familiar with her, unless the same character as "The Rose" from the Elric novel "Revenge of the Rose."    Who certainly was a bad ass red head warrior woman, and lived to the end in style!

Was thinking more of the core Elric novels...and, not pretty!  (Cymoril, Myshella, Zarozinia etc.)

Though, Prince Corum's wife lived to die of natural causes.  And, I'm from that world, not Elric's, so maybe I've got a degree of safety, too.   (knocks hard on wood)

I do not remember her name off the top of my head but Hawkmoons wife donned one of the four silver masks and rode into Londra to help Hawkmoon take out Gran Bretan

It is really only Elric that really has a problem with women from what I remember.

Yup, same Rose.  She appeared in a few others, I believe, I don't think I've yet read them all - something to look forward to. :>

I remember that Hawkmoon's wife was Count Brass's daughter, Yisselda ... though I had to check to see if I'd remembered correctly !  Though the book was only about a metre away from my computer, so no great stretch, you'll be pleased to hear.

The Jewel in the Skull was my introduction to Moorcock's multiverse, so it's got great sentimental value.

I have only read the Corum and Elric books, haven't been able to acquire all of the Hawkmoon ones yet.  I do have to say that between the two I far prefer the Elric ones though.

What about Viktor's wood?  Lol
