(applies some catsup to part)  There - better!   No, seriously - I understand.   In a book or movie, you often have "the" hero(ine).   In these sorts of games, you just have to wait your turn, at times.

Actually, I don't even mind playing more of a support character, as long as I get enough to do.   In many novels I've read, my favorite character is often one of the support characters.

A world where all water becomes booze? Where the beer flows like wine.  Lol. I just want to get my axe out again. I know that will come again eventually. Besides, I have a gunshot to add to my arsenal now. Can Viktor get trained on this? Not to mention running around drunk with a flamethrower is rather fun. I recommend it highly.

You had to drink all that rum - it was the only sensible recourse.  Imagine carrying all that highly flammable alcohol on your person while you're running around with a flamethrower ?!!  ;>

Very true. He would be like hey I have 30 gallons of rum to drink. Come over. Minnesota got hit hard with rain Wed night. I was lucky but had to drive through some of it on my way home from work.

Internet is back up thanks to all my spare parts as I tinker with computers/networking on the side.
However my basement was nearly a complete loss, I'm posting from my daughters iPad.
Basement is nearly demolished and adjuster comes out Saturday. After that repairs can begin, I have no room to even set up one of my computers so I do not know if any of them survived.

Double ouch.  If you lost power before the water hit the machines you might be lucky, but I'd be willing to bet Viktor's rum ration that you're only going to be able to salvage bits and pieces from the computers if they got soaked.  :<

Viktor needs his rum ration to survive. I don't think he has eaten in weeks but always stays hydrated.

This is exactly why Rael sneaks small chunks of fruits into Viktor rum. In essence Viktor eat the healthiest of us all :)

That actually sounds really good.  Anyone ever have wap parties, or jungle juice or whatever it is called these days. Where you would take fruit and let it sit in very strong alcohol overnight. Or with a watermelon or cherries.  Ok I liked to drink a little in college...lol

I want to reassure everyone that I am here on a semi regular basis now. My basement is totally demolished and thing are back to workable condition. Wife did start a new job so things are a bit off till they get normalized.
