Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

"It would seem that Balmorra is either having a lot of troubles or we've been sent on the same mission by the same master." Maliq contemplated this for a moment and then smiles. "Either way, it couldn't hurt to have some company on the way there."

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Jax's narrowed his eyes on the inside, Are they sending this guy to watch me? Am I not trusted? I'll just have to do my best to show that I can be trusted...

Jax feigned surprise at hearing Maliq's news, "Sounds good, how are you planning on travelling to Balmorra? I haven't checked the shuttle schedule yet, but there shouldn't be a problem finding a ride, right?"

Jax let out a small sigh while turning to address the ornery quartermaster, "It's fine if you fulfill his order first, I have what I need."

[Private to GameMaster: Are you adding in Maliq to replace Jido?]

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Aleeko shook his head as the two Jedi talked and continued his work.

[Private to Jax Nilar: Actually, no, Jido has been responding at a good pace.  I was bringing in Maliq ask "support".  And because I have everyone's stories revolving around there, it was a good way to get him at least introduced to you two. Ultiamtely it is up to you all if you keep working together.]

"I haven't checked the schedule yet either, but I'm sure we'll be able to find one in a reasonable amount of time."

Maliq hadn't even thought about the shuttle schedule yet. Good thing he ran into these two. "You ever been to Balmorra?"

Aleeko looked up at the 3 Jedi and cleared his throat.

"I hate to interrupt this party in my office. But you are using up my valuable time and I do have an ENTIRE Temple's business to attend to.  Will someone tell me what request to fill!? Or I am going to ban all 3 of you and take away your little toys?!"

I think we handed over our requests earlier in the thread. Jax was only chatting since he assumed that Aleeko was off getting the items from a storeroom or something

OOC:

Thanks for noticing that.  Post is edited.

I am adding Maliq to this thread to hopefully speed things up, as opposed to copy/pasting each character's posts to each thread.  Let me know if anyone has questions/concerns.

Pick up with Aleeko's last comments.

"Quartermaster Aleeko, we've all handed you the requisition forms. We are travelling together, and all need what has been indicated on them. We are merely passing the time until the supplies are ready. Do you need something else from us?"

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

He looked down at the forms and back to his screen.

"Fine. If you are all going together then I can speed things up.  It should take about 2 hours to get the supplies ready.  Send me a message on which ship to deliver to and I will send them there. But let me know before 2 hours are up. I do not need to wait around for you when there are plenty of other projects that need my attention!"

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Jax leaves the quartermaster's office to find a computer terminal. Pulling up the shuttle schedule he sees that a transport leaves in 2.5 hours or in 6 hours. He messages this info to Jido and Maliq, asking which they prefer.

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

After leaving, the quartermaster's office, Maliq takes the time to gather more information concerning the planet Balmorra, while Jax finds a transport. From a computer terminal he searches the climate, history, traditions, geography, and people/places of interest on Balmorra. Hopefully, some of this information will come to be useful during the mission.
Receiving the message from Jax, Maliq voices his desire to get going as soon as possible. The 2.5 hour shuttle would work fine.

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Passage was booked on the shuttle Colonial Flyer for Balmorra.

[Private to Maliq: Balmorra is an industrial world known for weapons and droid manufacturing. They have sold arms to both sides of the recent conflicts and are fiercly independant.

It is a world with a poisoned ecosystem and lots of industrial waste. There is very little native lifeforms leftover. The system is controlled by the Ruling Families. They control all business transactions and laws in the system.  The current Chief Executive is Lord Deikun and he speaks for the Ruling Families.

After gathering sufficient information on the planet, Maliq contacts Jax via comlink.
++"So it looks like we may need to grab some respirators. Balmorra has an atmosphere we don't want to breathe for long periods of time. Other than that, I'm ready to go whenever you are."++

The transport is fueling and cleaning up when Jax arrives.  The droid outside tells him "it is currently closed for maintenance."

If you are ready, we can skip ahead to the planet.  Unless you want to do something before we leave.
