Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Master Ulric discussed matters with one of the waiting Jedi, and then shook his hand.  Dismissed, the Jedi turned and left the office.  That left only 2 Jedi waiting.  They were Jax Nilar, a Cerean Jedi Knight, and Jido Draji, a Zabrak.  He looked at his data pad before coming over to the 2 Jedi.

"Sorry about that.  Things are getting busy around here and I am one of the few Masters on planet.  We have recently had verified proof that a Sith agent was spotted on the planet Balmorra.  This planet is neutral and supplies military hardware to the galaxy at large.  The last time they allied with the Sith it caused the destruction of this temple. We cannot let that happen again.  We are not sure what the Sith is doing at this time, but it cannot be good. I would like you two to go there and find out what their plan is, and how many are on planet.  At this time the Sith are hidden in the shadows and even we are unsure where they are operating from.  Any information would be a welcome addition to our resources."  He paused for a moment, then sat back in his chair.

"Normally I would not send out 2 Jedi on a mision like this. Especially not one with..." he turns to look at Jax "your personal ties to the mission.  But we are stretched thin at the moment and need both of your abilities.  You have both been out of the field for some time, and I need you to work together to complete this mission. Are there any questions you have? We will have all relevant data uploaded to your ship before you leave for the mission."

Jax nodded ah he took in what Ulric had to say.

"Master, thank you for trusting me with this. I'll do my best to keep my personal history out of this. That being said, Jido, if you see my judgment being affected by my past, please let me know. I don't want to get all of us in trouble."

Jido made mental notes of everything Master Ulric said after the Cerean spoke he  looked at the Cerean Jedi as told him "I will endeavor to inform you if that is the case."Jido then looks to Master Ulric as he addresses "Master, if I may do we know the species of this Sith Agent, also do you want us to bring the agent in alive?"

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Master Ulric brought up a grainy and hard to see image.  "This is the best shot we have of the Sith.  Her name is Cizbi and we have very little information currently. She is humanoid, but we are unsure of her exact species.  She has eluded our agents and is very adept at hiding in the shadows. Be aware that she knows we are looking for her and might be expecting someone to track her down."

He looked over at Jido and continued: "I would like to remind both of you that the Jedi do not kill other beings, good or evil.  You are expected to apprehend this Sith agent and bring her, and any allies, back to us for questioning.  However, if your life or the lives of innocent beings, are in danger then you are authorized to use any and all means to stop the Sith threat."

Seeing the image that he had captured shortly before Master Pollis' death brought back harsh memories. "Jido, I took this image at the start of the confrontation between Cizbi and Master Pollis. Cizbi was able to catch both of us by surprise, and Pollis gave her life so I could escape. We MUST be vigilant."

Jax closed his eys and took a fwe deep breaths, "I think I'm ready to head out. Jido, do you have any more questions?"

"Good. Then I wish you both luck, and may The Force be with you."

As the two Jedi started to leave, Master Ulric spoke up.  "One last thing. I need you to go down to the quartermaster and pick up some of the supplies for the mission. I do not have time to take it there in person."

He held up a datapad as he looked down and started pulling up another file.

Re: Searching for Sith: Jax/Jido

Master Ulric watched Jido take the datapad, then looked down at his own screen.  He started pulling up data that was unrelated to Jido's mission, and the conversation seemed at an end. As Jido left the office, he saw a male Mirialian Jedi walking into Master Ulric's office. The attendant droid closed the door once the Mirialian was inside.

AS Jido made his way through the temple, he noticed the quartermaster was on the lower levels.  It was also very quiet and sparsely populated. In fact, there was hardly anyone down here but droids carrying equipment back and forth.

He reached over and snatched the datapad from Jido's hand.  "Let me see what items of mine that are never coming back THIS time."

Outside the room, Jax could hear that last line coming from the closed door.  Immedietly after, a Mirialian Jedi rounded the corner and spotted him.  "I'm looking for Quartermaster Tan Aleeko. Is he in?"
