Lord Zabi nodded his head at Maliq. "I apologize my hospitality is not what it should be today. But we are a little pressed for time. If you want to make that gala tonight. It is in a few hours and there are a few things we need to do beforehand."

"Where do we start?

"We start here. But we must find attire suitable for you.  I can bring a total of 5 others with me.  One will be my wife, of course. And my head of security. Redden will not allow me into that den of vipers without him at my side.  The other 3 spots I am willing to bring you along.  But, we will need covers.  Tell me, what skills or abilites can you fake well enough to fool those at the party?"

He looked down and pulled out 6 disks from a drawer.  They all had a smiling holo-image of a well dressed and older human on them. Zabi rolled his eyes at the image and then looked up at his security chief.

"Redden, can you help our guests find proper attire for the evening?"

Jax considers for a moment before responding, "Cereans are well regarded as advisors and planners due to our dual-brains. I would pass best as an advisor. I would need some background info on your organization to ensure that I can pass as what I claim."

Lord Zabi nodded at the suggestion.  "Yes, that is perfect. You can go as my new financial advisor.  I can give you some background information on the company and my personal finances. Not everything, you understand. But enough that you can pass most scrutiny."

Redden grunted at the mention of personal finances.

Jax nods, "Shrewd plan, my Lord, given that if asked, I would reveal little about your finances were I to know much more about them."

"And it prevents you from actually KNOWING those details and then informing your order about them. So it works in multiple ways."

Redden spoke up for the first time.

Maliq didn't like the implications being made by Redden. But nevertheless, he knew that his temper should be kept in order lest the plan to go awry.
"I would best be portrayed as security personnel. Let's just say that my skills will speak for themselves should a situation provide the opportunity for me to utilize them."

Redden looked over at Maliq and grunted.  "Fine. But you listen to me, got it? And try not to embarrass Lord Zabi too much."

"I yield to the will of the force. Not you." Maliq pauses to calm himself. "But for the time being I will...do what is necessary." He hates submitting to anyone who hasn't proven their superiority but if it will help to advance the mission, there's nothing else to be said on the matter. Maliq responds to the grunt with a stare of give me a reason

Redden looks at one of the other guards.  "See about getting him an outfit. Something that will blend in."

The other guard nodded, then escorted Maliq out of the office to fix his wardrobe.

Lord Zabi looked back at Jax once Maliq left the room.  "Should I worry about your fellow Jedi? He seems a little...different from the stories I have heard about Jedi.

Jax lowered his head briefly, deep in thought. "Maliq has had a hard time. He joined the Order older than usual, and had a trying experience where his master was crippled. I will make sure to speak to him before the event and ensure that he is ready. Will that suit you?"

Zabi sighed and shrugged his shoulders.  "In this situation, it will have to do. Just....keep an eye on him. Things will be tense enough with my presence there. I do not need an unpredictable Jedi thrown into the mix."

"Do we have any other parts of the plan we need to review? If possible, I could use something more formal than my robes."

Zabi nodded and pressed a button on his desk.  "Contact the wardrobe consultant." He looked back up, then over at Redden.  "Can you have someone escort Jedi Jax to the consultant? He does need a more appropriate outfit for tonight."

Redden looked at one of his other men.  "Jeph can take care of that. And then we can discuss some of the particulars for tonight."

The mentioned guard stepped forward and waited for Jax.

Jax gives a polite nod to Zabi, "Thank you Lord Zabi. I'll see you this evening. Lead on Jeph."

Jax follows the lesser guard out of the room.

Jeph led Jax upstairs and to another private room.  Inside was an older Twi'lek male who looked over Jax. "Good. Good. We can do something quickly."

He then proceeded to take measurements and make notes to himself.

Jax chats with the Twi'lek for a few minutes before choosing a well tailored green suit.

"What do you think of this? Formal enough for the gala tonight? Are there fashion trends on Balmorra I should be aware of?"


[Private to GM: I'm happy to RP here for a bit to get them caught up, or just move on. Whatever you need.]

"That will be perfect.  There are a few trends at the moment, but the Zabi family has been known to ignore most trends. Wearing this off-trend outfit will actually make you blend in. Ironic."

The Twi'lek made a few final adjustments, then stepped back.  "Perfect! You are ready for tonight."

Jax takes one more look in the mirror. <blue>"Thank you for your assistance Master Clothier."

A security guard entered the room.  "We are almost ready to leave. Are you done in here?"

[Private to Jax Nilar; Maliq: I am ready to move on if you are. Let me know.]

Jax took his typical lanky strides to the door, "Yes, thank you for waiting."

[Private to GM: Ready to go!]

Maliq follows his escort to acquire the necessary attire for the gala. Clothing never having been a major part of Maliq's thoughts, he thrws on whatever the specialist recommends and returns to stand by his companion's side. "I am ready whenever you are."
