That is easy.   I steal from X-men and put bracelets on everyone that will block all force powers. Then everyone is together and no one can straight up kill the other with abilities.

I suppose. But then you've got Ysalimiri all over the place. And we lose our gear and all that good stuff.

Luke found a way to get around the Ysalimiri.  And they worked out for Kaarde.  Though once Thrawn got into them it did skew the tables.

I was more in it for the evil overqueen bit and doing iron-fist-in-silk-glove administration with occasional casual violence in elegant ways, accompanied by the notable difference from the norm in that, because her species does not age, she appreciates the long-term view of things and the planets under her dominion are actually really nice places to live. Also, being a certified Legionnaire of Doom™ comes with educational and healthcare benefits for the rest of your natural life!

This, of course, would make opposition to her more difficult in a moral sense. How do you justify opposing the "evil overlord" when the space trains run on time, universal basic income is actually available to everyone, and there's a space chicken in every pot and a speeder in every garage? What do you offer them instead, Jedi? Freedom? Freedom to starve? To toil in misery as wage slaves to the corporations your Galactic Republic so loves? Mwahahahahaha!

What I would ideally like, as a situation, is for her empire to be so well-run, so prosperous, that people actively want to immigrate and the common folk outright resist attempts to impose democracy or "civil rights." Insidious, killing with kindness kind of stuff. The lighter, softer, prettier, and much harder to dislodge Dark Side. Gnomesayin?

I have been trying to go over my old stories and update but I just do not have the mindset.  I cannot determine what my old plans were or figure out the next steps for the characters.  And this is about 5 years of stuff to figure out from outside the game too.  For this reason, I am doing a soft reboot of the stories.  We are going to pick up after the in-game event I am calling The Galactic Plague.  Two guesses where I got that idea from.

Let me know if this works for everyone or not.  I am trying to continue similarly as before, but also bringing this up to my current abilities.  Feel free to private message me if you like to discuss anything.

I did and suffered from a bit of cerebral flatulence. Can you give me an idea on my backstory which I assume had changed some with the relaunch of the game.

Right now I am winging it.  I have some ideas on characters, but do not remember all the backstories right now and not sure who want to do what.  So I am using the opening posts to work that out.
