Re: Commenor: The Meeting

"I honestly don't much about who they are. I just got recruited a couple days ago, so they haven't told me much. I only know that they seem to be an anti hutt group. Who want to kill as much hutts as they can."Roq says

"Do they take offense of individuals who have worked for Hutts in the past?" she said.

Continuing, "Are they looking for individuals to do a job or are they looking to find someone for a more permanent position?"

"They don't mind as your honest about it. And they'll probably want to do a check on your history, just to make sure you're not a spy." Roq says  taking another swig of his drink then adds. "For you they're offering a permanent position. But if you're saying you have a friend looking for a job. We're looking for pilot."

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

"Sadly, I don't know a pilot at this time. She glanced around and caught the attention of the waitress. Once the Twi'lek arrived at their table. Noting the name tag, Jase smiled, "Could I have tonight's special, Sharlae?" She looked toward Roq to see if he wanted something and waited for her to disappear before asking her next question.

"What drew you to working for them?"

"I'll have the special as well." Roq says to the waiter and drinking as he waited for her to leave. When Jase asked what drew him to the group he stops and puts his drink down. A sad and depressed expression on his face and says.  "Lets just say. We all have our reasons for joining."

"Well colored me interested," she said, pausing as the waitress arrived with there food and then discretely vanished, leaving the two of them as alone as they could be in a crowded cantina. "I've been looking for wa group where I can use my, um, talents."

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

"Do you know if there is a possibility of continuing the work off planet or will be stuck on this rock for the remainder of our employment?" she asked as finished her drink. She switched to a non-alcoholic drink when the waitress returned, preferring to have her senses about her.

09:09, Today: Jase Mason rolled 4 successes, 3 threats using the Star Wars Edge of the Empire with a dice pool of 1p 1a 3d.  Perception.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

The waitress came by and dropped off the mention drinks.  She smiled at Roq and then placed Mason's drink on the table as well.  She then quickly stood back up and hurried back into the kitchen.

[Private to Jase Mason: Something about the waitress seemed off. You are not sure why, but she seemed too forced in her friendliness and did not even ask if you wanted anything else. And she left in a hurry too.]

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Jase leaned towards Roq and whispered through clenched teeth, her hand drifting towards her weapon, "Something is wrong. Either you are setting me up or we both are being set up. We should leave before the waitress returns."

Jase placed credits on the table with a generous tip and stood as if she were done with her meal. "Shall we?" she gestured at the doorway looking back at her companion. Her plan was to walk out as if nothing was wrong, but be ready if that were not the case.

Roq looked at Jace and whispers. "I assure you I am not setting you up. If you feel somethings wrong then yes we should get out of here." Roq placed credits on the table  and stood up nodding at Jace. He started walking out staying close to Jace in case something happened.

Jase kept her hands free in case things became more interesting, trusting in Roq to keep her back as they weaved there way through the crowd and out onto the street. Once there, she whispered to him, "Where to?"

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Roq keeps an eye out for trouble in case someone was watching them. Making sure Jace was close to him so he could protect her, not wanting anyone else to die because of him. As he made it to the street he whispers back. "the wharehouse district if we're being followed. We might be able to lose them there." as soon as he says that he pulls out his comlink and contacts Viera whispering into the comlink. "M you there I got our asset. but I think our bounty hunter friends from the square have fo."

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

She made the instant decision to trust Roq, something she had not done in many years, not since the last debacle. "Let's lose them, she replied. Not as familiar with the Warehouse District as she was with the Spaceport she allowed Roq to take the lead.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Roq was surprised not expecting Jace to trust him so quickly, it'd been awhile since someone trusted him. "Yes I hope your armed just in case there's an opportunity to ambush them."then he led the way going through the district. Randomly going  down different streets to see if he figure out who was following them.

"I am always armed. She smiled as she followed him through the streets, attempting to act nonchalantly as she checked to see if anyone was behind them. Trust was always tricky, but Jase followed her instincts, they had not strayed her yet, though she remained cautious.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Beings were moving in all directions around the two as they made their way through the city. It was hard to tell if anyone was following or watching them as they crossed through the crowded sections.

As they got closer to the warehouse the traffic thinned out considerably.  A few loading droids and other scattered individuals were moving around but most seemed to mind their own business.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

As they continued to wind their way through the Warehouse District, darkness fell all around them. The lights that kept the Spaceport and Cantina Row lit through the night had all but disappeared. She turned to her new companion, "I think we've lost them," she whispered under her breath.

Still, she was concerned about being followed or discovered, "Have any place around here we can duck into for a while?"

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Roq shook his head as he tried to think of a place they could hide. "No the only safe house I have been compromised. probably by the same people that was following us. Our best bet right now is to get off world fast. You think you can slice into the spaceport and find a ship we could get on."
