Re: Commenor: The Meeting

To everyone on the crew, "Everything looks good. I will watch all the exits and inform you if the situation changes. Be aware that there are a few blindspots, inside the suite is one of them."

Jase glanced around her, verifying that nobody was watching. The last thing she needed was to be so engrossed in her datapad that she was captured.

"Everything looks good here too. I'll keep looking around and inform you of any changes. Just let me know if you need me to check anywhere Jace."

Roq glanced around him, making sure nobody was watching. There was a chance that the buyers may also sent somebody to also check out the site.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

A man in a security uniform came over and approached Roq. He walked right up next to him and then past him to the door of the suite.  He knocked on it and waited for the answer from inside.

Roq nodded at the man and walked close to him. Pretending to be looking for his room to not draw attention. "Guys we might have a problem. I got a guy here in a security uniform he might have made me. Jace do you have eyes on him as well?" He says quietly to the crew.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Jase tapped the table as she watched the security guard enter the suite. "Damn!"

Hitting her comlink, she whispered softly enough so Roq could hear her but those sitting around her could not, "I did until he entered the suite."

OOC: Is it possible to use the image that seen on camera before he entered to identify him? Verify he is security at least?

OOC:

Sure. You can use a captured image to run a check on him.  2D since you are tied into their system.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Jase watched as the security guard approached a camera and waited for the right moment as he turned and faced the camera. Thankfully the image was decent, "At least someone keeps their tech up-to-date," she mumbled.

Taking the image she captured, she runs it through the local databases, hoping to verify he was indeed a security guard and not an assassin in disguise.

OOC:
09:20, Today: Jase Mason rolled 2 successes, 1 threat using the Star Wars Edge of the Empire with a dice pool of 2a 2p 2D.  Computers (Image check).

The results are in.

[Private to Jase Mason: He is indeed in the database. He is a security guard.  But it appears he was fired about three days ago for attempting to break into the secure computer system.]

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Jase switched on her private comlink. She double checked that her communication was only to Roq and then she spoke quietly, "The security guard is an imposter. He was fired from his position three days ago."

[Private to GameMaster: Is there any way I can use my access in the security database to determine what he was looking for?]

Note to Jase.

[Private to Jase Mason: You were unsuccessful. You do not think you tripped any alarms, but you were not able to find any data.]

Concerned, Jase picked up her datapad, finished her coffee and left the coffee shop. Walking several blocks, she located a new spot and sat down. All the while she glanced at the security feeds on her datapad, keeping in constant communication with Roq.

Cautiously, Roq started to move away from the man, walking through several hallways, he located a spot that would give him the advantage in case of a fight. All the while getting updates on the man's position from Jace.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

The security guard followed Roq through the first two hallways then backed away. He watched as Roq vanished around a corner but did not continue afterward.

Jase settled into her new position and looked like just another patron who was glued to their electronic device.  No one seemed that worried by her presence.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Jase monitored the security channels, verifying there was no one else besides the one ex-security guard that was following Roq. When the man stopped, Jase let everyone know.

"Be careful Roq, something does not feel right."

Glancing over to the individual working their devices, Jase cannot help but wonder what he is working on. I must remember the mission, I am not here to use my skills for information hacking, despite the temptation.

Roq kept in eye on the hallways, making sure the security guard wasn't following him anymore. Roq shifts his focus back on the hotel room. Making sure to be extra stealthy.

"I hear you Jace, I'm starting to get  bad feeling about this too."

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

The security guard was nowhere to be seen. And neither was anyone else.  The whole area felt eerily empty.

[Private to Jase Mason: A message flashes over the internal computer system you are connected to.  "Keep area clear. MVP incoming"]

Alarm bells went off in Jase's head as she read the message flashing across her computer screen. She immediately relayed it to everyone on the comlink.

"Clear out Roq. There is an MVP coming through, security has been instructed to keep the area clear."

"Alright  just let me know what the fastest route out that I won't run into guards."Roq says. following Jase's directions while keeping an eye out for security. At least they weren't actively searching for him. he thought.

Re: Commenor: The Meeting

Roq came around the corner and almost ran into a security guard.  The Gamorrean looked at him and grunted something in its native language.

One of the cameras Jase was watching showed a brief image that almost looked like a Hutt, but then the screen went black. Shortly after a few others went black. And the security locks on the entrances were overridden and unlocked.

"Shit, it is a Hutt. They are shutting down the feeds Roq, I am blind," Jase whispered into the comlink she was using to communicate with Roq.

OOC: Is there a feed I can hack into? Or perhaps gain access to the door locking mechanism to help Roq get out? Oh and one last question, did I recognize the slug from the glimpse?

"Kriff, that explains the  gamorrean. That's not good. the hutt's most likely the one that the crew is working for. Can you get back in?"Roq whispered as he makes his way through the hallways. Trying to get out without drawing attention.
