Proper Introductions

Morgana normally is with an RT unit. She is known as a merchant pilot and maybe a smuggler. She does have a ship docked close by. She doesn't seem to have an issue with anyone living. She has no issue with Jedi. she does have a reputation that she is not to be messed with and has buried some enemies.

Sidrynn was a Force adept of the Zeison Sha, an abandoned Jedi colony on Yanibar had become their own tradition. The Jedi had sent them ages ago and then a galactic war broke out. They cultivated a hatred of the Jedi that had stranded and did their own thing.

That said, Sid was born elsewhere and came to their planet later. He would not be hostile to a Jedi but probably won't trust them, either. He has done a fair bit of galactic travelling too.

The three of you are the only ones to comment in this thread so far.  Would you all be interested in running a story that involves all three of your characters?

It would be fine with me. For story purposes it would probably work best if Rick and his padawan saved Sidrynn's life - whether from a rampaging beast or pirate ambush. If he owes his life to them, he would at least feel indebted - and while trust of Jedi in general might still be a bit slow, he would at least know these two were decent people and could work with them. Morgana seems like the sort to be a self-reliant badass which would jive well and he'd have no trouble with her at all.

Proper Introductions

Hi everyone. I would like to get my character in with the other Jedi. I didn't comment since I didn't have a storyline that my character started, so I didn't want to add a suggestion.

But I am playing an Itkochi Jedi Guardian Defender. He is a toe-the-line kind of Jedi, but has learned to soften his hard edge when dealing with others. Also has very little in the way of people skills, and can be abrupt at the best of times. :)

I am fine with all of us being in one story. The more the merrier. And it is easier on the GM.

One idea could be that each of us receive an equal part of a map and need to find something.

Or we all get framed for something and get locked up together and have to break out and run.

Not every Jedi is ready for stun traps and coma-gas, for what it's worth :) And if they have a droid jailer all the mind tricks in the world won't get us much of anywhere.

I guess the first question is, are we a group and then pursue an objective? Or are we all pursuing similar and/or related objectives, and meet in the fray? While normally I worry about the latter being rife with chances for PvP, I think this group hanging around this long shows we're at least mostly mature roleplayers.

I am fine with any thing. Maybe we had to work on a job for someone and we start by being done in a bar. Then a new adventure starts and we know each other some.

RPG cliche's, oh yeah. How about we all meet in a cantina.. ;)

Seriously though, if several of us are with the Jedi Order, perhaps we were all called to investigate something. The others can be in the same place for other reasons, but they share a common interest in putting a stop to the situation.

  •   A pirate group that is wreaking havoc on a local system, and we are sent to help the local government deal with the threat.
  •    Slave traders have begun harvesting people in a system for some nefarious purpose.
  •    A leader of the system's capital has become despotic and is oppressing his people and threatening neighboring systems.

Any of those work.

Because of the high jedi quota, it seems fair to say one of Reuxic's plot hooks should probably include at least one Sith making a nuisance of himself. Classical reasons and all. Particularly with the despot, if he used to be a kind ruler and suddenly isn't. That's almost certainly a Sith.

I would imagine there are quite a few Jedi who local authorities deem to be "pirates."

Jedi are, first and foremost, warriors. Their purpose is to visit destruction on their enemies, which, in most cases, are Bad People. Often, the best way to accomplish this is with vigilantism. Charging off half-cocked is unwise, but so is refusing to do battle with an enemy who clearly cannot be reasoned with.

Piracy involves looting goods for profit, Jedi would never loot something for their own gain, unless they were headed toward the dark side. It wouldn't be piracy, unless the Jedi kept their enemies items for themselves instead of delivering them back to the original and legal owners, or just left the items alone and dealt with the threat.

But we could have common ground with someone that is for profit, if our goals are aligned such as stopping a slave trader, or taking down a despot that is causing problems for other grey characters.

As far as having a strong Sith presence, I wouldn't think the Council would send inexperienced Jedi for that yet. Perhaps just to investigate the situation, and it might lead to something like that later on. I'm not sure how experienced the rest of you are, but my character is barely more than a padawan (actually in my games he would be a young padawan at Force Rating 1).

Cloud is a full Force Rating 3 Knight. Rick is a Force Rating 2 Padawan. If you're there, presumably your master got killed and Cloud has take you under his wing till a new Master can be found for you. Of course, if your Master got killed, that lends itself to Sith presence even more.

In the great scheme of things:

FR 1: Young Padawan:
FR 2: Old Padawan:
FR 3: Knight
FR 4: Experienced Knight
FR 5: Master
FR 6: Council Member
FR 7: Yoda, Sidious
FR 8: EU Grandmaster Luke
FR Higher than That: Probably beyond the scope of the campaign. :P

Ro'lassi is the Sluissi captain of Destiny's Call. According to his ship registry, the vessel is an almost 800 year old exploration vessel, but it's doubtful anything but the hull itself is actually that old. The mismatched pairs of engines are a good sign of that.

Among his people, he has a reputation as a finder - though he often turns down lucrative jobs in favor of ones he takes for reasons only he knows. Records show he's found and claimed salvage on 5 separate ships that have been declared lost - one missing for over 200 years. Between that, navigational data, and the holoscapes he sells, he's able to keep his ship spaceworthy.

Hi all!

Xephrim is a researcher somewhat obsessed with the ancient Je'daii Order and their views of the Force. He's trying to find anything he can artifact wise and build up funds and reputation so that he can fund his own explorations and investigations...
