"I see, that is interesting information."  He says calmly.  "But I happen to be hunting one for the crime of killing my Beloved not that long ago."  He looks at the vampire calmly and rationally trying to get into the inside of this thing.  "So what do I have to do to get in?"

"Perfectly understandable."  He says with a polite smile offering a hand to shake.  "Perhaps we will meet again."  He pauses then, even if he doesn't get a handshake (but with more of a dramatic flurish if he does) he reaches into his coat and a metal case is withdrawn about the size of his palm it's thumbed open and a small retangle of card stock removed and handed over.  "I normally go by John Mordred."  He says by way of introduction giving his business card over.  The card lists him as:

A bullet sails through the air, catching him in the arm pretty sharp shot, thankfully the bullet has little force behind it.

A stereotypical fratboy jumps in "You think no one spotted you? Well luckily men like me are here to fight back the terrors of the night." He says puffing his chest.

"You stupid drunken shit."  He says looking at the punk trying to hide the injury and it's pain.  He strides forward locking eyes with the kid.  "Your going to see the truth now."

The world drops out around the boy as the monster before him reveals itself a great a terrible thing as the world becomes a place of blighted flames and fire surrounding the frat boy burning at him searing flesh and bringing destruction.  His whole world is fire and should the damage effect him the areas that in this waking nightmare that are burned on his real body boil and bubble developing horrible burns turning to blackened char.

He winces under the onslaught...  "You think I'll retreat so casually!? ?" He sneers with a tone of deep convictioin.

"Im not so easily terrified as that, you will no longer be in a position to terrify our campus, if I get expelled for it, thats a sacrafice Im willing to make"

His fervor speaks volumes...

((Dragon breath at him.  Honestly I don't want to kill him but he's waving around that gun which makes him a danger to everyone around him.  Better to put him in some pain, and let him know I'm not the monster he's looking for.  He doesn't need to die and it wouldn't accomplish much if he did die, then again it would protect the lives of everyone around here if he did.

He grimaces in pain, "Another time Monster!" And limps away... defeated but uncowed...

He heads back to his apartment, making sure to double back, and switch trails, and take a few false stops a few times just to make sure that he loses any followers, he doesn't want to be caught off guard or worse yet caught without knowing if he is being tailed.  If he is being tailed he will avoid making any sort of motion toward his home but rather head to a hotel that is likely to offer basic security something brand name, reasonably run, and with a good reputation.

He manages to find a best western Pluss more then willing to take him in.

He takes his rest in the room at the Best Western, best to not tip off anything.  He remains calm and collected though the night, resting sure he threw off his tail but not so sure of it that he dared to go home just yet.  He let's himself enter the darkness of slumber for now so that he can collect his strength and prepare to fight back, and prepare for the horrors that the new day and night will bring.

well the new day comes and he is well rested the hotel is quite relaxing...

Waking refreshed from his long night John gets ready for the new day and figureing he gave any tail the slip heads home, and swaps out his clothes for new ones and attends classes, gets a start on homework, and waits to be contacted by this new set of players on the board.  He isn't going to rush in to things right now.  But now that he knows they exist keeping an eye out for them is something he does.  Catching a nap in the early evening hours he is rested and ready to go back out into the night to see what he can see of this other group that doesn't tolerate the shadow things he saw.

First step, see if he can figure out how many are around here without tipping them off he is looking.

It takes a week before he encounters one in a tavern a Male flirting with a depressed woman...Seeming to try to lure here somewhere private...

John does not make his presence known and makes sure not to act in a hostile manner.  He doesn't want to spoke the vampire just get to know them a bit better.  He keeps an eye on him watching but makes sure to keep hostile thoughts to a minimum this was an exploration not a combat mission.

he takes her into an alleyway, and then begins feeding on her from the neck shes gasping out moaning...

This was a part of nature, he would not interfere with this, he stands back, waits for for the vampire to finish.  This human was learning a lesson about the dangers of the world.  If she died her lesson would be learned by other, if she lived so be it.  That didn't matter to him, but this was a good opportunity to expand his lair as well.  Every moment this went on, ever little bit of seasoning that the vampire gave of fear built the potential chamber up, and he could claim it, expanding his home, and giving him a handy shortcut to this location if he needed it.

He watches the vampire feed, studying it, studying the human learning what he could so that when this was over he could claim a prize for his patience.

He can feel the sheer Terror in the woman as shes fed on till she collapses unconcious but it seems her lesson may only be learned so well as hes muddled her memorys... shes standing confused when he walks away.

John smiles feeling the belly of the beast fill with the meal as the vampire feeds from the woman.  He does nothing to stop her as she wanders off as if drunk.  That isn't his concern.  He looks over at the one who did the feeding.  He just looms there though he doesn't make an aggressive movement but rather holds his ground like one predator when encountering another as a sign of respect to himself and them.  "Evening."  He finally says as a greeting, deciding to be friendly enough about it.  "Thank you, for providing the meal."

He blinks "Meal?" in confusion not understanding.
