Thi is the world you have arrivedd in pursued by heroes developing an irrational hunger for human terror you have awakened to this terrifying, but neccessary world.  Around you are the masses the people who need guidance, as sheep need their shepherd, else they will all go on their way to self destruction... yet their is only one way to teach them, through terror of destruction.

John leaned out looking over the campus his eyes searching, looking for anything.  The succulent hope that someone out there in the dark of the night was doing something that he could punish.  Better yet maybe someone was doing something violent then he could really come down on them break them and pummel them, let them know that they were always at risk of being caught.  How funny it is when sheep think they are wolves.  He loved the view from up here, the room of the business school had such a pleasant vista to search for prey.  Though if this didn't work he might have to relocate into the city, maybe try one of the rougher areas.

after a bit he hears a cry in the distance if he follows it... he'll find a college boy, looking frail and a bit like a nerd being held up by a masked hoodlum with a revolver, to be fair the boy probaly DOES need a lesson of his own as this is a dangerous neighbourhood.

The beast smiles.  Ahh yes, a meal has come his way, his favorite kind, the violent type.  Launching himself off the building he glides though the air as if he has wings to carry him as he seeks his prey waiting till he is just in position to drop in swooping out ready to deliver a kick to the gun carrying man's back as he plummets in from 20 feet above him.

Using Atavism Wings of the Raptor to glide in hopefully undetected to strike him from behind.  Also realized that 4 is considered middle satiety on the edge of low.  Low is 1 to 3, Ravenous is 0, and high is 7 to 9, totally stuffed horror going into food coma is 10.))

John locks eyes with the mugger and with a sly smile he says a short phrase.  "Karma's a bitch."  To this mugger the world becomes one of flames and screams of pain as the man before him burns, everything around him burns, his flesh appears to burn.  The world is on fire the likes that would have fit in with Dante's Inferno.  The hellish screams and calls of pain echo around him.

"I am that sad lesson for you, that your crimes are seen."  He says with a harsh tone.  "And eventually you will be punished."  His voice flares to a rage as he burns.  If there wasn't a witness still hanging around he would have burned him where he stands with dragon fire but that wasn't an option.  He had to be subtle, another round of nightmares should do the trick, it will mean burning off some of the food he already had, but he was about to get so much more.

"Ah delicious, well seasoned and dredged in just the right amount of pain."  He says stretching a bit.  "Sadly not very filling, that was the real shame."  He looks around the alley and decides to head back to campus now.  Now that the beast got it's hunt he needed to find the one who killed his Jamie.  Natural causes my ass.  He thought to himself.  It was that black shadow thing that did it.  If only I had woken up sooner I could have saved her.  Jamie...  he holds his arm in pain and rage.  As if trying to staunch bleeding.  Her loss was a great open wound both his selves felt.

He says walking around this area, trying to not look like a white, rich kid, in the hood which was exactly what he was.  But maybe if he acted like he belonged here, walked like he belonged here, and owned every inch around him he wouldn't have to worry about catching a bullet.  Or at least that was the self he was trying to project to try and catch his next meal.  Sometimes throwing out some chum on the water was a good idea.
