All too swiftly I descend into the night.

The house looks imposing and is darkly beautiful with 2 Stone Gargoyles flanking the Door and she cant help but feel that their ... watching her appraising her

A elderly Maid gets her at the door "Come right in your expected, would you like some tea, cant offer you wine sorry but have a lot of teas"

The decor is a bit dated, suggesting the man has eccentric and old fashioned tastes.

theirs some sculptures as well

"He'll be down in a few minutes till then make yourself comfortable" she says.

In reply to The Uncaring Night (msg # 1):

Sadie politely declines the tea. She smiles a sweet, close-lipped smile at the kindly maid, grateful for her offer. She is too nervous to eat or drink anything. The forbiding statues outside only increased her unease. All her eager thoughts at rebellion are completely gone.

She seats herself on an old overstuffed couch. The leather is well-maintained, but old enough for the smell of the hide to have fled. She looks about wide-eyed at the silent, ornate room. The polished walnut side table feels glass-smooth when she runs a hand over it. She tries to imagine what Mr. Wllston must look like. After a minute or two she starts to fidget.

He comes downstairs and is handsome...  suprisingly toung but a bit forbidding, she senses something, she cant tell what  That makes her want instinctively to get far away from him but she can easily suppress it

"Hello Ms Jenkins" He says with a smile something about it seems wrong though she cannot tell what

"I help many people jumpstart their careers." He advises

"Your still a minor but are doing so well... Your parents must be proud of you" He smiles "You arent in trouble with tuition which is what I usualy offer What I can give you are connections Or is their anything you need or want currently?" He asks her kindly.

Re: All too swiftly I descend into the night.

In reply to The Uncaring Night (msg # 3):

Sadie rises quickly, betraying her nerves. She presents her hand in her best-taught handshake stance. This isn't the first interview she's had, and the well-hammered in habits are keeping her moving. She is doing her very best to ignore the warning in the pit of her stomach, and it's pulling at her mind and movements.

After thanking him for inviting her into his home, she considers his question. "Honestly sir, your reccomendation would go a very long way. As you say, tuition isn't really a problem. A well placed word can be invaluable.". She mispronounces the last word. She looks every bit a dollish 15 year old playing at being a grown up. "Any advise you give would be very helpful too.".

Something is frightening Sadie, and she grips her hands tightly so they won't shake. She entertains the fantasy of running out the door, but she knows she can't.

He nods "I can give you reccomendations but first..." He pauses and asks her

"One question I can learn a lot about someone from is this... WHat are your thoughts on your own mortality?" he asks curiously.

Sadie's mouth actually hangs open slightly, caught on words dead on her tongue. Any adult would leave at this point. She is stunned into silence. Not only that, but she does not know how to answer him. She has never thought of death beyond knowing she would not have to face it until she was old. Her mind latches onto a essay from english class and she quotes "no man was ever considered more alive but that was going to die.". She hopes it is the right answer. She understands what she is suppose to say, but does not feel it.

He pauses "An interesting reply, I thank you for your time Im sure we'll see each other again in the next few days"

She senses that he's FOUND something in her he's been looking for for some possibly unwholesome purpose.

"I'll keep in touch do you need help getting a tablet, or new laptop I can help with that, when your read to drive I can help you get a car" he goes back upstairs...

In reply to The Uncaring Night (msg # 7):

Sadie is confused with the mix of generosity and unease. This feels dangerous or wrong. "Thank you, you're too kind. I hope I can live up to your expectations."
The closer she gets to the door, the more she feels like running out of it. She forces herself to step slowly as she takes her leave.

Luckily she had called ahead for a car taxi to wait about this time. It had already been waiting for 20 minutes with the clock running, but she was just glad it was there. She wanted to put as much distance as she could between herself and this place.
