Re: 1C - TiNH - Part Three: Rowyn & Alohan
Rowyn sits down next to Alohan and puts her hand on his thigh - quite high up on his thigh actually.
"Look Alohan, let me give you some advice, because this situation is actually pretty clear cut. There are two types of people in life - victims and the victors. Cousin Lavinia," she catches Alohan's look. "Oh, all the nobles in the great families are cousins with each other somehow. I forget how I am related to Lavinia - I think we are second cousins on my father's side. Anyway, Lavinia is a victim. Always has been and always will be. Now admittedly, it is not all her own fault. The last decade she spent in the Thenalar Academy for Fine Young Ladies hardly set her up for a real life in the hustle and bustle of Sasserine, but I knew her as a kid and she was always soft. Ten years on all that has changed is that now she knows how to fold napkins really well."
"I attended the Telvanta Dance Academy. To be honest it was gruelling, unpleasant and sometimes distasteful, but it made me what I am today..." Rowyn looks a little sad as she says that last part, but then her face tightens and her voice grows harder. "...a victor Alohan. Alohan, I am one of the victors of this city and I am going to make it great."
"Now, you can waste your time on providing security for Lavinia's next tea party... Or you can come down to the docks with me, crack a few heads and get my family's ships loaded on time. <chuckle>" Her hand starts creeping up along Alohan's thigh. "After we go upstairs and take care of a little *other* business first of course..."
