Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

I was unconscious. That makes me prone. I need to stand up before I can move.

SRD:
Stand Up

Standing up from a prone position requires a move action and provokes attacks of opportunity.

Urol nodded, backing up next to his new allies.  He looked at them, cocking his head.  "Where did the other one go?  The half-naked one?  I can't help the old one over there with the krenshar-things."  He looked at Celene.  "If you're still injured, I could help you, though."  The gnome held up one of his potions.

Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

Urol moves and then passes on a potion to Celene, then the sorceress follows Kassius and Kibeti (running on auto-pilot) around the back of the labyrinth in an effort to flank the krenshars.

Kassius FYI, I've also rolled for Kibeti save vs the acid from the last pirate:
20:56, Today: Dungeon Master rolled 14,1 using 1d20+8,1d6.  Kibeti saves vs acid.
He gets hit but his damage resistance wipes out the damage.

The krenshar facing Angati is again unable to get past her defences. The second krenshar, wobbling on its feet, does not notice the oracles companions sneaking up on it.

Back in the other cavern, savage pirate 8 roars in laughter at Alohan's ineffective attack. "Pretty flesh for my toothy mouth!" he screams as he tries to sink his teeth into the barbarian warrior, but the Nuari prince is too swift and nimbly steps away.

"Oi! Bucko!" yells the swashbuckling women who is raging against an endless sea of savage pirates. "I don't know who the frac you are, but either get in the fight or STAY OUT OF THE WAY!" The tanned beauty steps forward, seemingly offering up her neck to one of the pirates. The beast falls for the trick hook, line and sinker, and then the raven-haired beauty steps back and cuts the pirate in half with a critical hit (rolled fair and square with no cheating!). She swirls back and cuts across the face of a second pirate while avoiding the death throe attack and exploding cloud of acid from the first.

Re: 2B - TBG - Part Two: Kraken's Cove

Seeing how Urol had gone further back, Angati decided to take another step back, thus trying to keep both kenshar in the narrow corridor-like cave.

Taking time now, and a little bit reassured on her armor, she calmly directed the gauntlet to hit the kenshar closer to her, hitting it squarely on the head,  followed by a morningstar hit on the other side of its face... almost like a double slap on the face. The gauntlet however, disappeared immediately after the attack.

Before drinking the potion offered by Urol; Celene hoped she could clear out the last remaining savage animals with one spell. She stepped forward and began to recite her spell weaving magical energies as she finished the incantation the spell rushed forth from her outstretched hands bathing the Krenshar's in smoky fire laced with purple tendrils.

The sorceress then looked towards Kibeti and Kassius hoping the cat would interpose itself between her and the animals. If they managed to survive the fire.

Celene steps forward and fries the second krenshar with her magical flames - the creature screams and then pops like a big balloon filled with acid.

Angati hits the other creature and it staggers back - only its ferocity keeps it fighting now.

OOC: There is now an acid patch it G4 - I have been forgetting to add these to the map...

Kassius, Kibeti and Urol to go on the western map. Alohan still to move on the eastern map.

Kassius looks over the group, seeing that they're all still standing, and then realizes with a start that Alohan is nowhere to be found. He pauses, listening for the sound of battle and sniffing his newly sensitive nose. Then, he and Kibeti dash off in the direction of the fight.

Kassius and Kibeti move over to Alohan's map. Is that a turn? I'm not actually sure where he ran off to!

Bucko!? he heard himself repeat. 'I'll show her!'
His pele broke through,  forcing him into an uncontrollable rage. It might have been wise for him to remain where he was, farthest from the bulk of the acid pirates, but Alohan was filled with the desire to get closer -get into the thick of it. He stepped forward, brushing past his first target and picking one out of the crowd. Again, Alohan missed, swinging his taiaha wildly -both attempting to smack and stab his opponent.

Kassius: I wanted to impress her but here you go bringing your big 'cat' into the fight leaving no room for me and my wood. Not like it would matter much. Still can't roll above a 10.

Angati saw the flames engulf the two monsters with almost as much satisfaction as if they had been her own flames.

Turning around, she saw Celene badly hurt and Alohan missing. "Let's go find him first... I'll heal you as soon as I can Celene, let's just not loose time now and find Alohan, maybe he needs our help more direly".

Kassius, Kibeti and Urol spend the round running west.

Celene and Angati can start that trip next round (since they have already acted this round.)

Alohan almost disappears under a swarm of savage pirates, but by some miracle remains untouched. They are also unable to lay a hand on the female warrior. She slices up savage pirate #2 and 5' steps into his spot, lining up a flanking attack with Alohan. This means stepping into the sludgy, acidic remains of the pirate, but she ignores the acid stings (4hp damage).

Kibeti, lacking the ability to make clever quips, instead hunches down and pounces on the same pirate, easily landing on the man, but without enough force necessary to punch through the magical protections.

Alohan, ignoring Kassius' jab about male bravado, continues wading into the depths of the melee and finally gets his act together and clobbers the savage pirate standing between him and the sable-haired beauty.

In his haste to strike an effective blow and impress his future wife, Alohan has left himself wide open and BOTH savage pirates manage to bite him - one also strikes him with his sword. The result is not pretty, with Alohan being pretty blooded by the time he manages to pull himself away (19 hp damage in total!).

"Ouch! Well, it was nice knowing you bucko!" chuckles the female swashbuckler as she avoids all six of the attacks aimed at her. She lands two skillful blows on SP4 which dutifully explodes in response. She dodges the resulting acid.
