Glad that the plan was a success so far, Grannos stations himself just inside and beside the prison doorwaym peering back the way they'd come.
"So, ideas on next steps...?"

"Once Leemy gets the Artoo unit squared away, I imagine we would get the girl on her shuttle and get her out of here..." he states as he walks over to where the Stormtroopers left out towards to peer around the corner just in case. "..We did get the hanger functioning, correct?" he asks as an update, as that would be the only other obstacle.. other than the other stormtroopers.

Dara Lenn:
"What were you doing near Hoth?" Dara shudders. "I've heard that that planet will freeze you solid, and give your shivers shivers."

The Quarren looked at the Sullustan and paused, thinking over something in his mind. Hesitantly he replied to Dara as he shook his head mournfully. "We were trying to avoid the Imperials, but it didn't work out so well."

He glanced at the Duros working on the droid, then spoke to the disguised stormtrooper. "I heard you mention that the captain wanted to see the two guards. You'd better get a move on, it won't take them too long to figure out they were misled. If they called ahead on their comms, they may have already made out the deception. If you don't mind, I could use a lift to get off this Bantha poodoo ship. My ride was damaged and the Imps didn't give me a chance to fix it."

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
Leemy connects his data pad to the droid and soon clears up the intentional disruption of it's astronavigation program. After which it bleeps merrily and rolls out of the prison cell, glad to be freed. Alisha look around at everyone a little hopefully.

"So I can go home now yes? We can take the rancor to the ship.. And Artew can bring me home?"

Putting his data pad away, Leemy shrugs "Probably, but we'll want to get moving.  I don't think any of us want to get into a fight with those two troopers, and after you are on your way, our group will need to discuss our plans for the future."

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
Looking back, he gives Waryn a high five and smirks, "It's a good thing I was never a stormtrooper, or I'd take offense to that..." he states before hearing Leemy's response to Alisha. "Alright, let's move out. Chances are, they aren't going to come back here if they figure out that they've been had. Be careful going back to the hangar, keep an eye and ear out for any opposition and hope they aren't brighter than they appear to be." he states as he makes his way across the room and out the door, checking both ways to make sure it was clear before making a 'move forward' signal and moving towards the hangar. He'd stop at each corner and check it before continuing on, checking for any potential ambush points as they continued.

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
Kessaq moved over to a locker nearby, which was surprisingly unlocked. He pulled it open quickly and grabbed items out of it, including a long, unwieldy but military looking rifle (sniper blaster rifle) and a blaster pistol. He appeared to stand up straighter now that he was armed. "Fortune has smiled on me twice today. All my stuff is here and the Imps didn't bother locking it up," he chortled in amusement as he snapped on his utility belt and holstered his pistol. He slung the long rifle over his shoulder and moved back to the group.

When the Gand handed him a rifle he accepted it and inspected it briefly. "This will be handy, thanks. My sniper rifle is hard to use while moving, and this has better range than my pistol."

OOC: What type of rifle is it? E-11?

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
OOC: Not really sure myself on what the rifles are.  We know that they are the blaster equivalent of assault rifles due to their lighter weight, ability to aim better than "SUPPRESSING FIRE!!!!", and the "barrage of shots" that all 3 were able to make on the same turn.  The two most likely candidates are the E-11 and its nephew the DC-15S.

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
You head back to the hangar, which for Kessaq will be the first time he's seen it. There's a pile of dead stormtroopers in a corner, a frightened looking medical officer. And juvenile rancor, which is still the size of a small elephant. And the entire hangar bay has been covered with dirt and earth, and still terribly.

Alisha walks up to the rancor and places a hand on it's massive leg, and it turns to look at her. Then she starts to lead it away through the cargo passage towards the hangar and the ship. The rancor glances at each of you in turn as it passes, as if deciding how tasty a snack you might make. Even the otherwise cheerful astromech is extremely quiet as it rolls after them, perhaps not wanting to draw the attention of the rancor.

The medical officer stares after the rancor and the girl as they leave him behind without so much as a goodbye, and he sinks against the wall with a loud sigh.

"Oh thank the stars, I thought I was going to die in this place.. "

Smiling at the officer,"No one else is going to die here.  We're all going to be heading home very soon."

Walking fast enough to catch up to the droid, he stops it for a moment and quietly says "When Alisha and the rancor are both safely onboard, close the shuttle doors and hover it in the hangar until I deactivate the hangar shields."

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
The sniper's alien, dark blue eyes bulged at the sight of the fearsome, renowned creature. Kessaq's tentacle covered mouth hung agape in disbelief. "I thought that Rancor comment was just a strange expression or fictitious tale. She actually has one," he murmurred in astonishment just loud enough for his group of rescuers to hear.

When the huge beast actually looked at him, he instinctively gripped his freshly acquired E-11 tightly, putting one suction covered finger in the trigger guard, but avoiding actually pointing it at the girl's pet beast. He turned his head as to not stare at it, but kept it in his peripheral vision. His facial tentacles twitched nervously as he walked passed it, despite his best efforts to keep them still.

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
The droid bleeps an affirmative at Leemy's command and continues rolling after it's owner. And soon enough all three of them enter the hangar and head towards the shuttle located there. It takes some effort to get the rancor into the rear compartment, it's really not meant to house a rancor, but with some effort Alisha manages to coax it inside, and then she turns to look at all of you.

"Thank you.. for helping me.. I thought I'd never see my home again.. I would offer something more but everything I once owned was taken from me.. so all i can give is thanks.."

After that she seems to feel she's said enough and she and the R2 unit get into the shuttle where the droid waits for the doors to close and the shields to be lowered.

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
Quickly getting everyone in our group out of the hangar and closing the air-tight doors, Leemy opens the shield console and disconnects the wires keeping the shields up.  Assuming all goes as planned, when the shield drops, the shuttle should either be sucked out of the ship without taking any damage or have a smooth exit from the hangar once most of the atmosphere in there has been vented.

Taking 10 on Mechanics, for a total of 21.  Just in case I can't "automatically" succeed at undoing my jury-rigging.

Turning around to face the group, "Alright, so now we need to talk about what to do with Kessaq.  According to the medical officer in the cargo bay, this ship's engineers said that the damage would take a day to fix.  Even if I help them, the repairs aren't going to be sped up much, and we have no idea how much work they have been able to do while Alisha was here.  During that time, the remaining stormtroopers will very likely be looking for the escaped prisoner."

Dara shrugged her shoulders at that idea, speaking as softly as she could while still being heard, "Well, stunning is always an option.  There are other blaster settings, as well, but I'm just putting ideas out there.  I don't think our employer wanted any risk of someone saying anything about what happened, anyway, which makes me wonder what will happen to us when we return to her..."

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
The Quarren's small mouth slanted in his species version of a frown. It was apparent that they had a different agenda other than escaping or taking over the ship. "Who are you people? What is your actual mission? You don't seem like you favor the Empire at all, and it would seem rescuing the girl wasn't your main goal either. I owe you for breaking me out of that cell. I will try and help with whatever you are doing, as long as its not something immoral. I am an expert marksman, and a decent scout as well."

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
With Alisha on her way home, you decide to move your latest addition onboard your ship so that the stormtroopers don't arrest him again. And then you go on to meet the remaining crew on the ship and the last two stormtroopers, explaining to them how you're a repair crew and here to help them. Fortunately the stormtroopers decide that they must have been tricked by some witch's illusion and the witch must have taken the rebel traitor with her when she fled. He did disappear at the same time as her astromech after all. Perhaps they were in cahoots all along.

The only person who knows of your involvement in the girl's escape is the medical officer, but he keeps his mouth well shut. He seems far too grateful to be alive to turn you in, and he also seems to have a more objective view of events that happened. The girl really perhaps wasn't entirely innocent, but she never should have been forcibly taken from her home, if she hadn't, this all wouldn't have happened.

So you get to work on the ship's repairs, which takes about a day, and gives Kessaq a little time to read up on the blue haven and this group's overall mission. They certainly seem like an interesting bunch. And doing something, anything after spending all that time in that prison will be a relief.

After a day of hard work, the ship's engines are functional to the point where you can guide the ship towards the planet, where it's towed to one of the space stations in orbit and the imperials get to work to repairing the ship. But you make sure you're off the ship before it get's into sensor range, the imperial have a habit of simply arresting everyone and asking questions later.

When you report to lady wildsun, she isn't too happy to hear what her husband has been up to. Though he's made some progress towards recovery while the doctors have tended to him. He'll need cybernetic eyes for certain and they might not take and you're certain it's going to take a whole lot of work to smooth this whole thing over, but that's really not your concern and anything that keeps the imperials busy is a boon for you.

So you return to the same hotel you stayed before in the same rooms, but with the addition of a quarren sniper. Something that may well come in handy later on. And you get to focus your attention back to the main reason you're here. Getting a few innocent beings out of prison. The former cop gave you some suggestions and they may well work, but they rely on waiting until the prison transfer. Which means there will be tie fighters in the air, but the heist itself will likely be easier, as long as you can get your hands on those ion grenades he mentioned.

And of course you'er 10.000 credits richer..

"Well, that was an interesting diversion, to say the very least."

"In any case, we currently have two things we need to follow up on.  We need to check out that specialty shop, and we need to take a look around downtown on that path our friend pointed out.  No real rush either way, but we do have to be ready to head back home by the end of the week.  Any thoughts or preferences?"

OOC: After being tracked down by Lady Wildsun, Leemy is trying to be even more discrete about what he says in case any strangers are listening closely, while still making sense to the group.

Nodding to Leemy, Kell scratches his chin, "I can check out the path, see what's what and get back to you guys on that." he states, planning on getting a good look at the area and try to come up with a few tactical plans for the actual job.

OOC: Have we gotten any healing or anything since the cruiser? If not, Kell would be looking into getting himself patched up a bit for the job.

Re: Episode 1: Bloodlines
Kessaq was quite relieved to learn that the group engaged in missions for the Rebel Alliance, he assumed at first they were mercenaries by the way they acted. He stilled owed them for freeing him and would have helped them either way to pay them back for his rescue, but it helped a lot that they were aiding his cause. He explained everything that happened on the Hoth base and how he was part of the resistance on Mon Calamari originally and then joined the Rebellion. He told them about his mother and siblings being killed by the Imperial bombardment in retaliation for their resistance to Imperial rule over the planet.

He entered the group's main hotel room and glanced around briefly. He had seen worse places on the surface worlds so it wasn't too bad, or so he thought. When he saw what the humans coined a 'jacuzzi' his spirit lifted, until he came in view of what was in it. The slimy stuff floating in the putrid water was enough to make his blood boil. He let out a throaty sound that was halfway between a growl and gurgling liquid. "That is... appalling, bordering on insulting! The hotel manager should fix this. It is surely violating sanitary codes for most planets, even ground based ones."

After he settled down from his rant, he asked the others. "So what exactly is the rest of your mission."

Grannos nods at Kell "Grannos will come as well so we can pool our expertise"

OOC: I had mentioned in a post Grannos' plan to petition Ms. Wildsun for a run through the bacta tank she must have in her mansion upon returning...just thought it it now, since you brought up healing.
