Re: OOC Chat
Hey Glenn, it looks like you were logged in as me when you posted that most recent response to me.

Also, give me some info about responses. Should I respond as quickly as possible, or is it your expectation that I should only respond once a day?

Re: OOC Chat
Whoops! I must have been thinking about your character really hard. Fixed.

I'd suggest giving it a happy medium. When things are moving along steadily, most folks are posting about once per day. Sometimes a discussion starts, and then there's a quick back and forth with multiple posts. In combats, I make a post, everyone posts their action, I make a post, and we keep it moving along as quickly as we can. (This group has been really good at that, actually.)

Under the current circumstances, I'd suggest giving some of the others who haven't yet had a chance to weigh in on the current situation a chance to post before trying to move things along. Because of RPOL's private and secret line features, it's entirely possible that some of them have seen things or know things that not everyone does, so by giving everyone a chance to contribute, you give those characters a chance to bring that knowledge into play.

Re: OOC Chat
Perfect. Thanks.

I'd already responded before seeing this, but it hopefully won't affect much right away.

Welcome aboard sir. I would have to agree with my companions, on the unfortunate choice of a portraits, but I guess you could justify it by claim a family resemblance.

Re: OOC Chat
At your level, a single casting of Message lasts for 20 minutes, so you don't need to cast it again.

Anyone moving forward as part of the ruse should either roll or take 10 on bluff.

Re: OOC Chat
Barli, any additions to the execution of the plan?

(It looks like Khaz is out for at least the moment. He did mention the recent death of a family friend with kids, so perhaps RL has taken his energy, I'll NPC him for a while in hopes that everything is OK and he can soon return.)

Ended up too busy to make a post today, but will get one in tomorrow for sure as you spring your cunning trap. :)

You can use a charge during the surprise round I believe; but can only move your speed. Can this be used if an ally is in front of you?

It's like we are fighting orcs and the dice roller at the same time.

Sure are.

I only needed a 6 to hit.

Don't forget to add the hatred bonus well those of us who are Dwarves.

Apologies, I've been sick. I'm going to be traveling and doing stuff through Thanksgiving, but should still be posting, just at a slightly slow rate.

If the orc is silenced this round and you have not acted, an aid on Bluff may be worthwhile.

Re: OOC Chat
Well, I'll give Khaz another week or so (which will make a full month since he last logged in) and then I'll work on writing him into a more NPC-appropriate role.

I hope everyone is having a good Holiday (if you get one). I'll start a new OOC thread shortly.

Completely forgot that Kord was inside a mine cart.

Barli's perception is, after all, fairly poor.

The character illo I sent in was finally added, so now you can see what Kord "actually" looks like.

Re: OOC Chat
Groovy, have replaced icon used in the maps.

Also, Thanksgiving trip is now behind me, so posts should be more regular. (At least until xmas/new years roll around)

Also also, starting new OOC thread.
