Re: OOC Chat
It occurs to me we should probably have one member of the party keep track of whatever loot/treasure/valuables you have acquired.  You might also wish for someone to keep track of the groups supplies as well.  Let me know if you agree and/or who you think should do the honours.

So far you've now journeyed two weeks and your supplies, or lack thereof, should reflect this :)

In reply to Eru Illuvatar (msg # 211):

I am happy to track our treasure, will just chuck it all in my scratch pad. Now if anyone has added to their sheets can you let me know and I will begin to look through the threads for the rest. Thanks.

Re: OOC Chat
Looking forward to it Kronin.  There is a new thread up for your company's journey :)

Evia, so far as I am aware the only things that are "party treasure" so far are:

1)Any items taken from Algar and Dunstan that were NOT claimed by party members or NPCs.

2)The items found in Embla's chest (though at least one person has expressed interest in the crystal with the flower embedded, but no one has claimed it).

If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Re: OOC Chat
What no one trusts Thrir to keep the party treasure, afraid he might forget what's his and what's the parties :)

Just kidding....I probably wouldn't turst a thief to hold the party treasure either :), if I wasn't the thief....

Re: OOC Chat
Sorry for the amount of exposition, but I wanted to move things along.  Also apologize for the busy week, I'll try to get back to at least two posts per week.

Lastly, Noin answered my R mail at last and it would seem that real life has become a bit too busy for him to continue with the game.  I hope at some point that he may return, but in the meantime I need to decide how I am going to deal with his character and whether or not I should try to find another player for our game.

Thank you as always for your posts and your faith.  Thrir you may very well have enough pips to increase your charisma soon :)

Re: OOC Chat
Always happy to see this game update, and while it's a shame about Noin, it's a testament to his player that he still reached out to confirm his situation.

I would be in favor of keeping him an NPC unless you already have an outstanding player in mind.

Re: OOC Chat
Update in the morning everyone.  Twelve hour days and overtime on the weekends are kicking my behind.  I truly appreciate your patience, I'm eager to get to the next morning.  Evia has expressed interest in seeing Old Scaela and Kronin has decided to talk with Nendiel the Raft-elf.  Its up to the others if they go with either one, but I promise to make those meetings brief and to the point..

I think, unless anyone has objections, I will advertise for a new Noin to join our merry band.

Goodnight my friends.  See you in the morning :)

Re: OOC Chat
I'm fortunately off tomorrow, so I should be able to post a bit more.  Goodnight and good dreamings :)

Still lots of stuff going on behind the scene with Bofri, Oli, and Noin btw.  NPCs shouldn't ever be just reactionary beings, they should have agendas/goals of their own.  Remember everyone has secrets...not just the PCs.

Feel free to talk amongst yourselves during the night, you have the time and no one in the village can overhear your discussion that would understand dwarvish.

I'll post the following day most likely tomorrow.

LOL!  Of course not Thrir.  It's a valid question.  And besides, what kind of DM would I be if I didn't anticipate it?  I'll post after dinner my friend :-). In the meantime, you just keep causing trouble ;-D

Re: OOC Chat
Sorry its been two months since we got to Cotstow, I didn't intend for this to take quite so long.  The blame is entirely mine, a combination of slow posting and my usual inclination to over-complicate things!

Any questions, you have but to ask, I'm sure I've missed something.  You are ALL together once more, so you can and should share some information, if you think it relevant to the task ahead.

How much you bring with you could become quite important, considering the environment and what you will face.

The runes given to you by Óli will add a +2 to ANY skill/ability check for the duration of the adventure.

For those keeping track, you are departing on the 26th of Hithui, FO 49.

Very sorry to hear that Thrir.  I have had bouts with poison ivy many times in my life, which I think is similar.  I hope your hand heals quickly.

When you do feel up to a post, Evia is trying to mount a spearhead she's been given.  She could sure use a friend with the Weapon smithing proficiency to assist her hint hint.

In fact Evia already has a great spear so we could possibly just change out the head.

I don't see anything in character about this, is Thrir aware, he will possibly help if he is.

Re: OOC Chat
See message 96 in the thread.  She didn't ask for Thrir's help, but she is trying to mount the spear head and does not make any reference to being secretive about it.  Also she asks Óli for his opinion on it as well.

I'd say its fine for Thrir to offer his services, since he and Ymir are the resident weapon-smiths of the group.  That's what the NWP is for after all :)

Going to post later when I have the proper time to make a detailed post.  Sorry I have been busy, its not fair to you I know.  I'll try to do better so we can get this adventure underway.

Re: OOC Chat
Okay I heard from Ymir, he said that he has chosen to remain behind with Thrir so as not to slow down the current situation in the Marsh.  He's still playing he's just gotten a bit busy of late.

I will try to post tomorrow to further both scenarios that are unfolding.  Are we okay with me using the same thread for both and just delineating it as I have been doing, or should I make a separate thread for the Long Marshes adventure?
