Chapter One: The Primordial World
Computer, the beast that was with us during the Trial, is it a construct of ATLANTIS? What is its purpose? Will it obey us? Who controls it?

Asper clone series six are a biomechanical construct designed to help teams. Near human level intelligence, and bonded exoskeleton make it an excellent tool.

It may follow orders, and will respond to telepathic communication.

Chapter One: The Primordial World
The next day, at the appointed hour, you meet in the transport area. You are taken to a room identical to where you awoke in the trial. The room molds itself around you, and you have another, similar transition. Waking up, you walk to the room which leads to the new planet.

In that room, you pause and wait.

The hole in the ground is larger this time. After a few moments, the beast and heavily armoured ATV come up. Dune buggy suspension and tank like protection. In the ATV, you find climbing gear, underwater breathing gear and an electronic device that appears to create an electronic fence. There are also four devices to be placed in each location.

Looking outside, you see that the ship has formed inside a mountain this time, and that you are at the head of a river.

(see grid 2648 - three to six grids is one day of driving depending and one grid is about a day's walking.)

(looking at your arms, you all have four silver bands again.)

A voice speaks:

Your neurological nanobots have been upgraded with limited range transmitors. You can communicate sub vocally at 50 meters. If next to either the ship or the ATV, the range becomes planet wide.

The Babylonian familiarizes himself with the ATV, looking it over, getting used to the controls, checking the engine, making sure there's a spare tire, etc.

The vehicle is a self repairing nano-form. It can sustain extreme levels of damage before becoming in-operational.

Portnoy makes certain her gear is sorted and locked down.  She examines the map and begins to plot a course for the first device location.

OOC:  where are we starting on the map, josh?

Once all the gear is stowed, the Babylonian gets behind the wheel -- or joystick, or whatever controls the vehicle has -- and starts it up. "Jus' lemme know de way, Sis Portnoy. I get us there, righteous."

Who knows what wonders we may see
We walk as one, the deputies
ATLANTIS, ATLANTIS
The God that guides us
The tie that binds us
Whose light will never rust
Whose knowledge we will always trust

Malthus looks at Portnoy and is not sure if it's the tune that he doesn't recognize, or if it's that she is out of tune.

In Wasteland Wasteland,
I'm going to Wasteland,
For reasons I cannot explain
There's some part of me wants to see
Wasteland,
And I may be obliged to defend
Every love every ending
Or maybe there's no obligations now,
Maybe I've a reason to believe
We all will be received
In Wasteland,

Day 94 Fall

You drive for most of the day through the foothills and rocky terrain. Above you see bird like creatures, and a few times you see large beasts in the distance.

As dusk falls, you find yourself in grid 2440.

The Babylonian is silent most of the time he's driving. Occasionally he hums along with a tune he knows. As he slows down and begins looking for a good place to stop for the night, he turns to his companions. "Y'know, growin' up, I think nothing in my life but fixin' parts o'ATLANTIS when dey break down. Woulda been happy life. Never imagine being on another world! And this third world we been on, no? Home, where we tested, now here. Blows my mind."

Do we stop for the night or push on? I'm rested, but not experienced with operating this vehicle. Especially in the dark.

I'd rather rest while we can. This seems like a good spot.

If the party agrees to the spot, Malthus will set up the tent. He will also offer the party salt pills. And take ten for the survival check for the day.

Day 94 700 pm

You are able to set up a camp quickly. The water in the area appears filled with impurities, and a vague smell of rotten eggs is coming from it.

After some brief foraging, you are able to get get some wild game, fruits and tubers.

Evening begins to fall, and the sky becomes darker. The world begins to come alive around you as the animal calls begin. You hear various howls from several directions.
