Through their link, Addaru could feel Marissa's pride at his statement. There was responsibility, which the entire group shouldered, but then there was legacy and destiny. Addaru was finally accepting his.

Addaru looked at the Twins and Taren as they rejoined them.  "Any movement or has that melee ended?"

Dawn can clearly be seen approaching now above the glade.  There is a sense of tension palpable in the air.

Taren is seen crouched with Slash, stroking its chin as he watches and listens. When Marissa returns and asks her question, he replies "No. No movement and the fighting still continues." He waits for further instructions as his gloved left hand creaks with the tight grip he has upon his bow. The look upon his face and the mood that which the channellers can sense in him as he remains linked with them is one of pent up rage that is waiting to be released. And it seems Slash echos his mood as the beast is also ready to fight.

Re: The Prophecies of the Triad and the Four Seals.

The twins begine to work together to pin point the direction of the sound more precisely. Raiel would point where she thought she heard the loudest sounds Asurii would do the same following those lines they knew that they would eventually intersect  One moved until the sounded faded a bit the other moved the opposite until the sound faded. then they moved forward to the sound source just a bit to determine the center point of most of the sounds of battle.  This was easier in the desert with so few things to bounce sounds off. Beside the trees seemed to absorb some of the sounds.

Without a doubt the sounds of battle is coming from under the ruins of the tower, from within the opening in the hillock and quite near that garish green beam.

"No time like the present." Addaru states, striding out into the glade and walking with purpose toward the cave opening under the ruins.  He swings his blade as he walks loosening his muscles and preparing for battle.

Marissa walks along near Addaru until they near the opening. She drops back 10 feet or so to give the fighters room to swing their swords.

She holds saidar, pulled through her angreal, a small star to anyone watching her. She would not lose her hold on saidar if the same dampening was in effect as the last site.

Re: The Prophecies of the Triad and the Four Seals.

Taren maintains his link for the channellers as he strides in with Slash in the front, taking point. He notches an arrow to be ready for the opening shot. "Just be prepared as the fighting might consist of survivors of the Seanchan force that we saw outside and the Shadowspawn. So, even if we aid them, we may end up having to kill them in the end as well to prevent them from trying to collar you ladies." His tone is matter of fact and laced with eagerness to shead shadowspawn blood as they carefully enter the ruins. Taren and Slash quickly take up point but insuring that Addaru is close behind so that he can quickly enter the frey when it begins.

Re: The Prophecies of the Triad and the Four Seals.

With the twins taking up guarding the rear of their little group, Taren leads Slash forward into the cavern opening.  He gets a quick glimpse of carnage.  A rather large low-ceiling cave is here, bodies are strewn everywhere.

In the center of the cavern's floor is a ragged broken hole through which the now nearly blinding green beam shoots forth into the sky.  Off to the right is a small group of the armored men making a last stand.  In this light they look even more like insects as they try to battle off a dozen of the strange scaled-bipedals with flanged fins running down their backs and across their chins and cheeks.

Any further details are lost as Slash pushs past Taren nearly throwing him to the ground as he rushes across the chamber toward the melee...one of the strange creatures turns, swinging a strange looking pike-like weapon at Slash before the Grolm can close...

IGA: Initiatives please.

Raiel and Asurii fall in to the flanks to guard the group, shifting about making Taren point but Addaru fit in just behind Taren and Marisa brought up the read. Raiel knew she would slip back to protect the rear one they were full engages. There formation was the shape of an arrow head they lead the way.  ready to take on anyone what comes at them.  Ir the Aiel Maidens of the Spear that they are right now. That was best for a fight. Wise Ones did not get into fights. Maiden did. They were not Wise Ones, no they er something else and this was not the time to examine such thoughts so they were put to the back for later consideration."

12:04, Today: Raiel rolled 27 using 1d20+14. Initiative.

Taren regains his footing quickly as Slash takes off into the fight. Taren raises his bow and concentrates on his shots, taking aim before letting an arrow loose. As much as he may hate the idea, but they will need the Seanchan in the coming fight. Taren takes aim at the creature swinging at Slash, taking care to insure his shot won't hit Slash by mistake.

The battle is definitely becoming one-sided, the presumably Seanchan warriors are hard pressed though they fight with valour and skill.

Taren takes carefull aim and lets loose his arrow for the opening shot. He aims at one of the creatures that was attacking Slash, hoping to hit a vital spot as they don't have time to waste here.

Re: The Prophecies of the Triad and the Four Seals.

Taren's first shot catches the creature in the throat and it drops to the ground, it's clawed and webbed hands clutching at its throat as its frog-like mouth tries to gasp for air but puckers unsuccessfully just before Slash mauls the fallen tearing it to shreds.

Taren's following shots take another in the thigh and back, obviously shattering its spine as it flops to the ground in a growing ichor pool of its own blood.

IGA: Marissa, you are up in the initiative.

Marissa looks at the mob and the defneders. She smiles when Taren and his new friend take out two of the attackers in short order. These creature look like no shadowspawn she has seen, so she decides to offer the defenders protection instead.

She uses hardened are to erect a barriar between the Seanchan and the attackers. She includes the friendly Grolm behind the protection then yells to the others.

"Defenders protected, fireball the creatures."

Re: The Prophecies of the Triad and the Four Seals.

Asurii held her action as well until she had decided who the enemy was unless they wer both enemies in which case she would let theM fight it out and then take on the winners as well. Once Marissa had called out that she had protected the Seanchan and to fireball the rest, she links with Raiel to do so.  They were stronger together than they were alart.

Whether fighting with spears or using the One Power. Their linking was almost second nature now.  They sought each other. Asurii let Raiel take the lead on this ne her circlet was linked to fire, hers to water.

Raiel watched the fight before her waiting for a clear idea of what was going on and who was who.  When Marissa said to fireball the creatures, she felt for Asurii almost instinctively Linking with her she cast fireball, [Private to GM: level two weaves for her + fourth level-con joined angreal +2+2, so she can throw a 4 level fireball. I think if different let me know. it may be 6th. I am not sure how the circlets act it has been so long ]
