Re: Back to Game
When a player or GM disappears, it always makes it difficult as there are quite a few things that could be happening.
She may have lost interest in the game for various reasons.
She may have lost computer access.
She may be in the hospital or she may even be dead.
Whatever the reason she clearly has not been on in a month. About the only thing you might be able to do is put a thread in another forum inquiring after the character's player and see if someone else here knows what is going on.
Right now, I have three games that seem to be dead in the water because their GM's have either disappeared or lost interest in running the games once they realized how much work and responsibility it was.
It is a hard call to make for a GM and one that is never a favorite to do but eventually for the sake of the game, a forced move will be required so that the game can carry on. After all, the show must go on. :)
When this happens to me and it has become pretty clear that the player is at least away for an extended period of time I try to work in a means to remove the character in such a manner that the player can resume with the character if he or she returns.
