What other games are dead...b/c some of mine are going the same way.

Last I checked Addaru was running into the darkened portal after picking up his mace.  :)

Just so we don't have any misunderstandings: Sarah Sedai, the Aes Sedai and the older Aes Sedai is the same persons. You may have found it a little confusing when I used the NPC Sarah Sedai to continiue the story.

Jamina is gone, you know. Haven't heard of her since... a very long time ago.

By the way... is Laskar going to get a portrait? No big deal, but its nice to have a face for everbody.

In the story we will take a little break in events. I will not continiue the story until you have planned a little and found out what to do. You are still following the thief, but you cant keep up with him(or you would have to split up, if any of you had horses, you lost them when entering the ways, and the Aes Sedai is slowing you down). You can talk while travelling. Feel free to ask the Aes Sedai some questions, or find information about the other party members.

I'm out there...waiting on either movement or an answer to my question.  I don't really see Addaru stopping for a chat where they're at especially given that in theory we're in something of a protracted chase scene.

I'm going on vacatation for about a week now(meaning I won't be able to run the game). If Jamina has not returned by then we will continiue in the story.

Addaru does have a point about the party stopping up to chat, but people are able to chat while following someone. Besides they are not keeping the fastest speed(any horses are lost, so the whole party is walking). Anyway I felt that it would be natural to have the a little "question round", especially when adding a new party member.

So when I'm back, we will open the next page of you story.

Hi all,

I shall be leaving for a few days tomorrow and will not have computer access.  I should be back Sunday but due to committments may not be able to answer mail prior to Tuesday.

That probably won't affect the game given our pacing but wanted to give everyone a heads up.

This game really is slowing down. I hope its only temporarily.

*grin* Well you have Addaru's move. *laugh*  Though in all games on Rpol I am learning the die roller hates me.

Maybe the admin of rpol decides what rolls you get. "Huh what a stupid char-name, I will give him a 1. A 14th lvl fighter hits a peasant with 8 AC, right?...think not!" This is an evil conspiracy with the goal of depressing as many rpolers as possible without getting caught! I got 14 14 14 14 14 13 as abilities on a caracter once.

*laugh*  Character stats and damage not a problem but when it comes to saves and attacks, it is rare that I roll above an 8 and quite often it is 5 or less on a d20.

Ahh well...eventually if I live long enough and earn enough levels I may start hitting things. *chuckle*

I'm back, though shall only be on a limited amount due to previous committments for the next day or two but that should not be a problem.
