Just level. Added Conjunction Talent and Trace, HP, 1 skill point each in concentration, composure, invert, weavesight, spot, knowledge shadowspawn, and 1 2 weave slots.

Also, defense up 1, and fort save up 1

Sorry guys. Life has thrown me a curve ball and this time nearly striking me out.

Father's cancer has spread to his hips and is now uncurrable. He has bout 2 yrs to live. I can't help but wonder if he would be able to beat this if the doctors have not procrastinated for 3+ months. And to top this off, my phone call to my kids nearly destroyed me as a person. It was a cold conversation with my daughter and I can't help but think that she is not wlling to speak unless someone tells her what to say to me. Her words really hit my heart and pushed me into my depressed state. So sorry for my absences.

I'm sorry to hear that Taren.  Dealing with either of those is harsh, dealing with both can bring a person to a complete stall among other things.  You have all been patient with me and I can only return that patience.

Do what you must and post when or if you can.  If you can't, I understand and as we've talked about before I will post for you when I have to for game movement.

I will give Raiel a couple more days to finish her level up and provide the basics then I am going to move on to the next chapter.  Raiel if there is an issue please let me know as I have noticed you've been in a few times since the experience went up.

When Taren gets back to me on his class choice I will level him up.

I hope your summer has been far more pleasant than my own to date

I can't say I've been out having fun given the floods, tornados and other pleasantries Mother Nature decided to hit us with in the last two months.  Between that, family emergencies and fall out at work to be blunt it overwhelmed me.

I ended up having to deal with all of the above and I'm still recovering.  Factor in some gaming burnout and I'm not in the best of places right now though I am better than I was; some of my own health issues and injuries have finally healed after over two years of embattlement.

I don't really know when I will be back to full time posting but I hope after the weekend is over and I have completed a project that has been worked on for the last four years that my energy will come back and I can at least start out posting once a week.

I'd really like to catch a break some time soon.

To update.....

The men in my family are well known for their stubborness. My dad is no exception. He can barely speak a soft whisper and after just under a minute, he is done for the day. He is bed ridden now. When I talked to him, I lost it. To hear him tell me it will be alright. Knowing that he has accepted his fate hurts like hell. I cold not understand his final words as my tenitus made it nearly impossible to understand his very soft whisper. Work is starting to simmer down but I have to start looking elsewhere for employment as it is getting harder to make ends meet and the story I am guarding is going to expand and there is a very clear hint that they may not renew the security contract with my company I work for. And the boss I work for now seems like she is looking for reasons to removeme from the company since I don't have a car. And I won't ge into what my ex is doing to my daughter right now. So yeah....it is still pretty heavy and this little escape is what I need. Thank you for your patience.

Father passed away on Aug 7th at 8:30am central time. Also, verizon is not renewing the security contract so I am layed off as of today. Anyways, life his hell for me here. Thankfully, I have you all to converse with and help keep me sane. *hugs*

Hey all. My deepest appologies for not being on for a while.

The security company I work for lost 2 contracts with my former site being one of them. So I was struggling for a while. Now I am at a new post with wierded out hours. Only have time to sleep and work. Even the days off they gave me was only so I can transition from day shift to graveyard shift. This being the first time I am able to actually post on here.

If the above was not bad enough....I am still dealing with the fact my father passed away back in August. I missed his funeral so his death has yet to hit me as hard as it should. I am so gonna be an emotional wreck when I finally get back to Oklahoma and visit his grave while settling affairs of estates. Also, I am dealing with the drama of my ex and my kids. As well as fighting depression as this is a very bad time of year for me.

So I am so greatfull with your alls's patience for me at this time and ask just a bit more. Till I have time to up my posting rate and work out this depressive state I am in, I will be keeping my character on the back burner for now. I am not quiting the game, just sliding into the shadows for the time being.

I want to apologize for my disappearance.  Life took a very bitter turn for the worse and it has been a struggle to deal with it with little energy to really face or deal with much else.

It is finally starting to get resolved and the weight is lifting enough to at least give a notice that I am still around and will be back.  Most likely after the weekend as the final resolution comes down on Friday.

I'm not up to going into details at this time as it has been hard enough without going there.

Sorry for my long absence, I got a nasty case of fly that other than getting to dialysis with the help of my friends, it iut me into bed for weeks   Only now  able to do more that the basics to get by though on a good note, I am improving every day a bit,   Thanks for NPCing me

I'm back kind of.  I'll get posts out after my doctor's appointment but things are going to be rocky for a bit as I have to go in for another surgery next week and depending on how that goes a few more may need to be scheduled.

Apologies for not checking in sooner. Been taking extra time to sort myself out. Have not forgotten you all.

So sorry for my long absence I had sever carpal tunnel syndrome  my fingers had not feeling in them and I could not use them sometimes.  Doctor had ne lay of computer, until I had surgery and had rerecorded feeling.  Well, he cleared me to use Computer, though it may take 2 more months until I know how much feeling and control I will regain.  One thing I am free of is The burning pain That was hindering everything including sleep.

Shorter version - Quick update: I was misdiagnosed with cancer and for a series of rather dangerous surgeries to deal with it.  I've been focused on getting a second opinion before agreeing to something that I was sure was not needed.

The game is still on hold as my new specialist still needs to address some medical issues and I have another procedure in a few weeks that may result in my hospitalization so I am posting quick updates and putting my games on hold until I know fully where things stand.

It does not feel like it has been two months since I was last here.  However, I have some great news pending one last exam and its results.  Everything has come back after getting a third opinion for a tie breaker that I was clearly misdiagnosed and while I do have a few things that need to be monitored, I am in better position than I was originally lead to believe by my former specialist.

While we still have to clear the last one mentioned, it should be all behind me by the beginning of next month.

Also taking an extensive break from gaming seems to have done wonders to rejuvenate me in that area as well.  The joy and interest is back across the board so to speak though this was never one of the games that caused such a backlash it did suffer for it.

So I would like to get a call out to see who is still here and with the plan to put a summary up of where things stand around the end of the month to give everyone a chance to weigh in and see if we are all ready to continue.  Then as I am presuming that I still have my most faithful here in this game we will go active at the beginning of August and move on through to the conclusion.

Posts are finally up after a fact.

To be blunt, I've been struggling for some time with being creative and while I have immensely enjoyed this campaign and it has been even with my delays one of the most successful I have been in and possibly one of the most successful Wheel of Time games on Rpol.

Rather than possibly have this go on for months longer, I am going to write up the Final Battle in more of a story-mode with points where characters will still be able to act and that will shape the outcome as I would like to give everyone an ending in Prophecies that it deserves for the Epic it has been.

As for the Blight game that will continue though that depends on if we still have our players after my absence.

Eleven years and just over seven months ago this campaign started under another GM.  Not too long into the game, that GM decided they were not able to continue.  Marissa stepped up originally and then I don't recall why I joined her as co-GM.

We've traded the spot a few times over the years until I settled in with this story to help craft with the players of Asurii, Raiel, Taren and Marissa.  Asurii will forever be remembered and honored as a participant and I hope the ending provided did her justice.

I thank you all for your patience with my health and other struggles that caused absences and staying with the campaign to its end.  I hope each of you enjoyed your part in this tale and what we crafted together.

It has been a pleasure through the years seeing the character growth and the depth of each character in turn.

To each and everyone of you for making this campaign a success and bringing it to a conclusion, a very rare thing in RPoL!

A thoroughly enjoyable tale and I too hope the twins found it a good ending. Wow, almost 12 years of story. That's a feat.

Been debating running another storyline. Wondering if its better to continue with Marissa, Addaru, et al, or new character at lower levels.

Like the old characters but storyline might be harder at their levels.

I have been away I am sorry.  Dialysis has been kicking my but.  I am literally drained,  Come home sleep eat and do minimum necessary,  However things have improved and I am feeling muck better now so Hope to continue

Literally I am drain f energy as well as toxins and excess fluids.  Even though my dialysis is early in the morning I usually need to go home and nap for 4-5 hours to get my energy level up.

It might be best to start with fresh characters and let you run with something Marissa.  The originals are fairly epic.  I can continue with the other storyline but my heart is not fully invested in it at this point.

I do have thoughts for a sequel for the original characters but it will be at least a few months before I have the time or energy to truly give it what it deserves.

It might be an idea to break things up into solos and then people can post as they are able?

I am glad things are improving Jacinda.  It's always harsh when procedures sap everything.

Marissa, do you want to run with a scenario here.  As much as I love 3.5 and WoT, my heart still isn't in it.

Not sure how many players are even still around. All of the games that I'd been playing in died, some after a couple reboots.

There have been some exceptions but it doesn't seem most players stick with games and then the games die.

A new storyline I think would be best to start at first or 3rd level. 1st if everyone was from the same village, ship, etc, or 3rd if they've met while traveling.

Nod.  Though we should keep all of this as archived posts in case we want to pick it up some day as a sequel with respect to the main campaign and our high-level characters.

I will clear out the posts for the two new games I tried to get going but leave up the characters until the end of February.

Not really. No. I only read the books up to book 8.

Yes but that was years ago.  I haven't looked at it in ages.

Prophecies was a source book for WOT. It had some new material but was mostly a module to take players through the first 6 levels of a character.

I think the game kind of went into limbo and stayed there given the lack of response at the time after I had to step away.

Things are starting to improve for me and I have looked at this but we'd either be doing Prophecy of the Dragon with new characters under Marissa or there might be a chance at some point in 2017 of merging the two groups and doing a sequel of sorts.
