Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
Aha! I was going to use that, but questioning the NPC seemed more natural. (Also wasn't sure if differing people had access to different parts of the database or not.)

And: Yeah -- NP :)  Still new to rpol games, so not sure what frequency is best ... or if it varies from game to game.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
Posting speed varies game to game. I am digging your speed personally, but not everyone will be able to post every day and that's okay too :)

All of the threads are actually related, telling the story from different angles. We'll see it all come crashing together eventually. Hah!

Hey all! I got swamped with work stuff unexpectedly and it took my a while to get my stuff together.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
First off. You are all awesome - I am loving all of your posts.

Second. This game is weird... Weirder than I realized it would be. I hope you are having fun so far! It will get less weird soon... and then rapidly more weird. There will be varying degrees of weirdness.

Third. Since I know play by post style is completely new for two of you, and fairly new for the rest of you... I just wanted to say that it is okay to read other people's threads, if you want to. There will come a point soon when reading other threads *might* give away loose spoilers that will be considered OOC knowledge.

For this specific game, I think that reading about what other people are doing will make the story more interesting.  But, it is up to you if you want to only know what your character knows.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
I had to go read other people's threads just to make sure mine wasn't the only weird one :) For a couple posts I felt like I was doing it wrong or something heh.  But now I know better.

Not weird at all over here. Just an abandoned rail line. Totally normal.Nothing weird at all, no siree :)

So sorry for being behind on posts. I've been working on a rush job for a client, and my head hasn't been in the right space for writing. I'll get some updates out tonight.

Hey all,

Crio and I are super sorry that it took us forever to post this week. Between work and family obligations we were swamped and exhausted.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
Heya. I just wanted to say that I am holding off on updating the stasis chamber thread for now, because I wanted to give you guys a chance to meet each other and talk. So, feel free to converse for a bit. I will step back in soon, and of course if you are exploring the room or doing things that require my input I'll toss a post your way :)

I've been driving plot pretty hard so far, so wanted to give you guys a little room to just play off each other. Err... the floating corpses shouldn't detract from your ability to have a nice time hanging out. Nope, not at all. (cough)

Hey all!

Crio and I apologize for disappearing for a bit. My folks were in town for my birthday so I was never at a computer, etc etc.

Hehehe. I think everyone is waiting for Security to show up to Solve Problems. Or at least bring guns :)

Arthur has about 50 excuses not to put himself in danger. The top five are all about him being an utter coward :)

Hah! Well, security isn't always available to solve problems.... if the A.I. wants to wake up a whole security detail, it could do so presumably. But for now, you're the only people awake.

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
Hello All. I am sorry for getting behind on updates. I have been swamped with work this week, and the month of July will be unusually busy. Posts may not come as quickly as usual, but I will try to keep up an acceptable rate. My schedule should normalize again in a few weeks after a theatre show that I am working on opens.

Also, we have a new player starting just as soon as I get him added to a scene. Darshan has been waiting in the wings for a while now, but I finally have his character sheet so we are ready to go. Please welcome our new Geologist to the team. (Now we just need to find some rocky planets to explore...)

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
"No, no. It's true. Geologists always wear red when exploring planets. The red shirt is very important historically to matters of exploration. I know, I know: Clairvoyance might not claim that but you can't expect it to know everything. Just - go down first, and explore the rock. It'll be perfectly safe, right?"

Re: OOC: Out of Character Discussion
Hmm.... So I'm not sure what to do exactly. It is my turn to post for Eswald and Darshan's threads, but my stasis chamber seems to have gone completely dead. Have I lost most of the players already?

I may need to poke people on facebook etc. to get things rolling again.

I'm still about but for some reason I thought we were putting the stasis chamber forum on hold until you had finished up with Eswald and Darshan.

Perhaps in Eswald's timeline, the Rail Line is all that remains... an abandoned husk of metal floating alone through the vastness of space.

In reply to Janus (msg # 35):

Hey all! Just wanted to apologize for the lack of posting from Crio and myself. We were on vacation and I got sick when we returned. All caught up with work and, hopefully, I'm on the mend. We should be checking the board more regularly now.
