Ryudo makes it back to Quordod and stabilizes her.

Seeing the bear prone, Alwan reverts to attempting to stone it to death. For once, his aim is true, delivering a stinging strike to the tailbone. Even so, Alwan is distressed by the apparent lack of concern from the bear. (25 vs. AC, 10 crit damage)

Airdsgainne hacks at the bear with his scimitar (attack 20, damage 7).

Ethic presses the bear harder swinging his mighty hammer against it. (23 to hit; 11 Damage)

The bear struggles with all it's might against Flutterwing's grip, but she holds firm. As it writhes in the Wanderer's grip, a cloud of familiar poison fills the space around it. Flutterwing and Airdsgainne cough, but manage to choke through the worst of it. Ethic and most of the village is not so lucky. (3 dex damage; slowed 1 round) Gonk, a tall middle-aged woman with two daughters and a son behind her, falls to the ground, motionless. A young girl, Mor, succumbs likewise to the poison cloud.

The village takes every advantage of the bear's position, stabbing it readily with spears from all angles. (12 damage)

The flameskull continues it's assault in vain.

Flutterwing continues to maintain the grip, pressing her shield hard against the bear's face. (Dodge action.)

Seizing her chance, Westra rushes in and bites savagely at the grappled bear (attack 25 (crit), damage 16), then spins and lashes out with her front claws (attack 22, damage 11), growling fiercely.

Aldridge squints, aiming the next arrow for the bear's eye. The arrow sails past Flutterwing's grip, sinking into its shoulder with a still satisfying "thunk" (19 vs AC, 7 damage).

With the bear pinned and Quordod stabilized , Ryudo runs over and swings twice.   The first misses, but the second connects (12 to AC; 18 to AC, 7 damage)

Alwan fires again, but his luck is worse this time. (12 vs AC, 6 damage)

Ethic rears back and continues to forge a weapon of pain on the anvil of the bear's hide. (25 to Hit - CRIT - 11 DMG)

Airdsgainne swings at the bear, but his scimitar doesn't break though the creature's thick hide.

The bear is starting to look genuinely injured and perhaps a little scared. Its coal red eyes flicker and look out toward the forest, searching for something. It pauses, then attempts to break Flutterwing's grapple. Her grapple holds firm and the bear struggles impotently, unable to even get it's feet beneath it.

The Flameskull continues to barrage the bear with meaningless fire.

The village continues to stab and assault the bear. (12 damage)

(Alwanzatar fails his poison save. -2 max hit points.)

Aldridge spares a glance toward the forest as well, but sees nothing but trees (Perception 9). He strafes in the opposite direction (30') and fires another carefully-aimed arrow toward the beast (14 with advantage), just missing.

Ryudo swings twice more, connecting on the second. (9 to AC; 23 to AC, 6 damage)

Westra also looks toward the forest, scenting the air for anything that could be meaningful to the bear or the rest of the party (Perception 11). Then, she bites (attack 17, damage 8) and slashes (attack 17, damage 9) at the grappled bear once again.

Flutterwing continues to hold the bear against the snow.

Alwan, encouraged by the bear's condition despite his own minimal contribution, lobs another rock. He narrowly misses his own foot. (8 vs. AC)

Airdsgainne continues to hack at the bear. (19 to hit; 6 damage)

The bear stops trying to break the grapple and turns its attention toward breaking the grappler. Flutterwing blocks both claw attacks, but the bear manages to bite her leg. (23 damage)

The choking cloud appears once more around the bear. (Ethic, Airdsgainne, and the Westrabear take 3 dex damage and are slowed for 1 round.) Sharog, Shelur, Duma the Elder, Bogdub, Vagan, Xugagug, Gluronk, Durz, Ghak, Mor, Kegigoth, Dul, Lazgar, Zahgorim, and Borgakha fall to the ground, motionless. In the mix, the party can't help but note that Gluronk is pregnant and Ghak has two motionless babies tied to her torso. Borgakha is the druid that helped the party when they first arrived, as well.

The nine remaining members of the village refuse to give up. Every man, woman, and child realizes that everyone will surely die if any do not fight. (4 damage)

The flameskull shrieks as the villagers fall to the ground. It charges the bear, bashing into it as fast as it can. (1 damage)

Aldridge squints into the forest (11), but still doesn't see anything. He fires another arrow, which misses the target as well (15 vs AC).

Shocked at the mass death, and frustrated by his own ineffectual attacks, Alwanzatar shouts his rage, hurling invectives at the wounded bear in the hopes of cowing it to total submission. (17 intimidation)

Ryudo attacks twice again, but neither attack is effective

Marveling at the staying power of the bear, Ethic raises his hammer again and brings it down with a meaty thud against the bear's hide. (19 to hit: 5 dmg)
From behind his shield Ethic chants in a low-voice,"[Language unknown: Unetee sonof, tiotioive pofor wheiouone. Tonein te os hoomit, Pa sonereoul hiom.]"

Roaring in frustration at the fact that the bear is still alive in spite of everything, Westra bites (attack 25 (crit), damage 11) and slashes (attack 20, damage 9) once again. She also does a quick medicine inspection as a bear to try and determine how much longer it will actually take to kill this beast (Medicine 14).
