Brie sighed. "You said she couldn't remove it. You said nothing about it trying to strangle her. Say what you mean!"

"I am saying what I mean! You're just not taking me seriously." Yehudit said angrily. "Get down there!"

"I'm not taking you seriously because you're not making any sense," Brie shot back. She waved one of the girls over. "I will be back in a few minutes." She looked at Yehudit. "Go eat," she said before storming to Sileas's rooms. She closed the door behind her and barred it.

Yehudit would have liked to eat, but she could not even stand. A girl brought her food and set it on the floor.

Sileas Spenser:
"I agree. I haven't figured out how to keep him from overeating as of yet, but at least we'll have some semblance of control." Sileas wrapped her fingers around his hand as she opened the door.

Wulfsen stared at Oscar wolfing down porridge for a moment, then turned to Sileas.

Sileas sighed. "Oscar! You need to put some in a bowl and leave porridge in the pot for others. You can always return for more if you're still hungry," she admonished, approaching the lad.

"No, Oscar. You need to share. You'll also make yourself sick if you eat all of that on your own. We haven't had any yet and I'm sure others in the keep haven't either."

"And if one continues to be a glutton, they'll be cut off." Sileas grabbed the ladle and filled a bowl generously. She put it in his hands. "Take this to the table and eat it." She stuck a spoon in the bowl with the porridge.

"And it's not all for you. Once you've finished your bowl, we can come up and fix a plate with some bacon, biscuits and fruit. There are other things here, and everyone has to eat what's in the kitchen."

"Oscar, you were quite happily eating the porridge before. If you don't eat the porridge, you can't have any of the fruit," Sileas said sternly.

"What did your parents do?" Wulfsen asked.

Sileas was seeing a trip to the healing room in the very near future. Maybe Difyr would be able to set him on the straight and narrow when it came to eating. "Oscar, you know the core is not edible, right?"
