A week later, you arrive at the Mining colony and refuel, taking on the thirty heavily armed Labrysians. They are of less than admirable qualities, actually being specially released from confinement for various acts of poor judgement, most of them violent. Not the guys you would entirely trust.

Kat makes sure she has a pistol with her and looks to see if there is a leader who is more admirable.

Cyril looks at the Labrysan leaders... You are that hard up?  I am not sure I'd trust these guys with a stick of chewing gum... if we give them a ship, they may become a problem rather than a solution.

He rushes off to one of his members who was looking over a box of Grenades. The Labrysian does as directed, and they continue loading their gear aboard.

They are ready soon after, and Labrysian authorities clear you for take off, after refuelling your vessel.

Dastavka slides out of her dock and heads out to the jump point.
Tanya, plot us to 1340 and lets go to the middle gas Giant ... but not close to the research station. Kat, we'll need to be on our toes as we may have company when we appear... Sigourney, have the weapons ready when we exit...

"The middle Gas Giant will be about 36 hours travel from the Research Colony at our maximum speed, and the Orbital Base under construction will be orbiting that moon. Heading for Gas Giant II now."

She lays in a course, and Duke engages the Hyperdrive.

We use the time to train and ensure all is in good shape, we are ready to exit some 8 hours before the expected exit.

The Dastavka drops out of hyperspace 4 hours past the due time. The Gas giant ahead is massive, and seems to be giving off a lot of electromagnetic interference due to raging storms within it.

The outer Gas Giant is visible from here, but the Research Colony is not.

Any ships in sight?
Looks like a good spot, this interference will make it harder to notice our arrival, let's move around the gas giant and see if we can observe the research station. Tanya, any chance you can determine where their freighters may be arriving?

"Not yet. The gas giant it orbits is currently on the other side of this star. Unfortunately, we came out of hyperspace some distance from the  gas giant, so the interference is more likely to hide a waiting ship than us."
