Would it be of use in recovering the Shamshir we disabled?

To my knowledge...  can the Tsushima Straits help repair the Shamshir?  Once it can move and jump, it can be taken somewhere to be upgraded.

"Tsushima Straits is a warship, a merchant vessel converted to an escort carrier. The best way to resolve the Shamshir would be to have small maneuver drives installed, as well as temporary power plans, and to land it.

Hmmm, I suppose I could turn a tidy profit if I could bring the Fabrika there for a short while to install the drives, though. It might take a couple of months for something of that size, but we could get it started. If it is safe to travel there, of course. But I might be better of to build the parts ahead of time and just appear there in a month or so to install them. If they want me too, of course."

Hard to see why the wouldn't... but we can ask. I'd need a ship to go there to do that, doubt this Gashidda is trip worthy... got anything small we can use and bring an answer back?

Ummm the Shamshir is at Clarmeer, but the leadership is at Ceti Command, so we would need to go there. If there is an Iken around, it might be better, based on what you have said.

He has the crew set course for 3220, then Ceti-Command after refueling. You will arrive on the 25th Dec 2173.

Even on big ships there are few secrets... she smiles and a week in space on a jump can take a while... so what ever we can do to enjoy the time.

A week in space is indeed a long time, and Jonathan has been in space for a very long time! His crew consists of 3 married couples (The Terran scouts are all for sending married couples on extended trips, as it helps avoid other distractions. 1 couple met aboard this vessel...) and 3 other male crew members, 2 relatively recent additions.

Long discussions in Jonathan cabin do begin to get indeed steamy after the first few days in hyperspace.

Well it will be a stress on the little ships A/C system as Gloria is going to really steam up his cabin ... it's been months (at least) since she has  such interaction, and a little just makes that much more hungry for more. Poor Captain Bourke is screwed...
