Interface vs. Snakeman!
Make your own scenario, I'll run the Snakeman and ensuing fight if any.

Interface vs. Snakeman

She didn't like being in the limelight. Not as herself, and definitely not as her alter-ego, Interface.

Naturally, she had heard the news about these snakemen, since she wasn't very good at fighting, she kept a low profile, but this crossed the line. She was browsing the net at work, an accounting company, where she worked in the cyber department, to keep the company from hackers, when one of her programs began sending signals that someone tried to breach the system. She kept surfing the net, while her mind sent messages to the nearest computer to block the attempt, and to trace it's origin, which seemed to come from the sewers, of all places...

Interface vs. Snakeman

Interface's research reveals that the easiest and most inconspicuous way to enter is from one of the massive storm drains, which isn't far from where the ping came from.  Fortunately it's not been raining, she waits for low tide for extra dryness and sneaks in, no one watches it but once a bit within a man in a hazmat suit starts approaching her slowly from further within, swaying unsteadily.  She can't see his face in the suit, but his odd movement gives her goosebumps long before he gets anywhere near her.

I shouldn't have entered here, she repeats to herself. But at least, she didn't come alone... It was a pain to carry it down to the sewers, but she had brought with her a basic forklift, one of those used to carry the boxes around the office. And as she saw the man approaching, she sent a mental command to it, to move between them, and planned to ram it in him if he tried to approach her.

The 'man' looks confused at the forklift for a moment, as it moves unmanned toward him, but ignores it as he continues approaching.

Interface gives him her best smile at his confused face, but when he moves forward, i turns into a frown, before she says "Ignoring a forklift is bad for your health, didn't your mother tell you that?"

And with a mental command, she manipulates the forklift, to raise it's fork, and charge the snakeman.

(Str equal to it's Material Strength, Fighting and Agility equal to my power rating, which is World Class)

Today: Interface rolled 100 using 1d100.  forklift attack.

(100 is gold, I'll count that as a charge, so they could be slammed and stunned, Material strength looks to be around 40 to 50 probably, I'll go with 40 as it's smaller, so he takes that much damage)

15:03, Today: R. Race Rasmusen, for the NPC Snakeman, rolled 16 using 2d100, unique dice with rolls of 7,9.  resist slam and stun. Both white, he's out cold at 0 HP and gets knocked wherever you want.

The presumed snakeman was flattened by the forklift, having completely ignored it and been blindsided, knocked back on his head against the concrete.  Interface's first super-fight was won at the first blow.

Interface was elated that the forklift won in one attack, but knew that that luck won't always happen. But still, she had to find that computer they used to hack, so she can neutralize it, and whatever network they might have.

She tried to see, in her mind's eye, if she can detect that computer within the range of her power, to at least mess with whomever is operating it, and if she fails to find the computer within her range, she'll move forward, but not before giving the forklift a small pat, for the great job it's done in knocking out cold the snakeman.

Interface winds her way through the sewers, she comes a spot her sewer map didn't show where she has to climb up steep steps on the side of a slope.  It's a bit too much for the forklift to go up.  She could try to find a way around or leave it behind.  The computer she's searching for should be almost in range from shortly beyond the stairs.

She didn't want to leave the forklift here, as it proven so useful in taking out a snakeman, but she didn't want to make too much of a detour. She was stymied for a moment, and then she remembered that just a few months ago, the city has approached the accounting firm she works in, and asked them for ways to better manage the expenditures on the sewers, and that included the entire plans for the sewers.

It's possible that she can retrieve the maps of the seweres, and find one of those side maintenance tunnels, after all, forklifts and such had to be moved here, to clean the more serious debris that sometimes clogged them.

[OOC: Am not sure whether that's just a feat of Reason, or a Power Shift of Reason)

21:50, Today: Interface rolled 27 using 1d100.  Recall Maps. Should be a success

Interface remembers there should be a alternate route, just a slight detour, circling around a bit, it delays her slightly, but there's no urgent rush.  She feels the computer ahead, she sees a hatch, closed where there shouldn't be one, and of course where the computer is, isn't on the map.

Just then she hears someone talking, coming from the way inland, opposite the way she came.  One of them more talkative and she can detect elongated esses even at this distance from the more talkative one.

(Go to Issue #5 thread, Manmirror and Larry approach.

I believe you get 55 karma for defeating the snake man and finishing the loan encounter, I'll add that to the karma thread.)
