Re: Out of Character Chat
lol now that is devilish Phillip...drive some of the towns 'less than savory' types to storm the swamps, if they win, we win, if they die, it will attract enough attention to bring in some real muscle.  It's actually not that bad of an idea.

Re: Out of Character Chat
I've had a heck of a time trying to read the current scene!

For example, I thought the description said there was a group shooting a gun and a shotgun, so I went back and checked but we never did use our shotgun, so I thought there was another group in another house in town being attacked. Duh.

Then I already forgot who Prime was, and thought it was a typo for Philip or something. Duh.

Then I was afraid we'd been thrown into the kettle by walking in, and the leader of the black mob had somehow made a report against us, and that made me laugh. Picturing a sharecropper-slash-voodoo priest covered in blood with a machete in his hand, calmly making a police report!

Hurt my back earlier this week and kept working, so it hurts to sit, stand, or tie my shoes. Writing up my post now!

Grant had a shotgun and Richard had a handgun, Grant has not been using it recently but he was carrying it..

Prime is the old man you met inside Eliuth´s study. He was searching the house when you got there. He escaped from the house together with you.

No, he wasn´t the leader of the black people who reported against you... of course!!! Someone in the neighbourhood heard Grant´s shots and called the police. Most likely, the police arrived when Grant and the other had just been transformed.
The cops recognized January, Grant and Richard because the whole group had already met some of them when arriving in New Orleans. Remember? See the first two messages of this thread link to a message in this game

Please, let me know if things make more sense now.

No, I said these were the things I *thought* were going on. But then I read the setting over again and cleared it all up. I have zero confusion.

Mothers day weekend but I'll get something up before Monday. Put in extra hours to take three days off so totally worth it!

Did anyone accompany her on the trip? A porter or driver or attendant? Or did she make the journey alone despite my telling her to be careful? (exasperated sigh)

The woman came with her driver, but she preferred him to stay in town, at the Inn of Thibodaux. She opted to go to the plantation accompained by the local sheriff.

Re: Out of Character Chat
So...I don't know which group of cultists is the 'good' one and which is the bad. Lol I don't even know if that distinction can be made at this point. Might be best to let this crazy snake-man destroy them like he says, now that we let him go. Might be best to use more dynamite to blow them both up. Or maybe just watch and clean up the one that's left.

Haha I have hook fished and hand fished before but I definitely prefer the success with bait and lure. :D

Hmm...thought I posted something by phone on my lunch break Friday. Seems to be my imagination. Was just a short comment to Phillip about the situation and the guy with the stick. Oh well.

And I wrecked my car a couple weeks ago. Been hoofing it to work and grabbing overtime to pay for the new car, which I should be able to afford this time next week. Which is good, since my cupboard is getting barren and I need to go shopping again right after.

I joined late but I indeed had a good time.  Who knew dynamite really could solve most of your problems so efficiently?  Now where can one order a case in this day and age...

Well, to tell the truth, just killing the guy who was doing the ritual would have been sufficient....

But where would the "fun" of being a hero and outright horror of being blown up in a Cthulhu adventure been, in just killing a "preacher"?

idk, I think I may be haunted by visions of snake people mating with...well who the hell knows what.
