Leaning out from behind the crates just long enough to line up a shot on Landal as she is frame in the doorway, Seku manages to wing the captain with a blaster bolt. As she ducks back behind cover, she whisper to Jess. "Do you think she's intruding on my aesthetic a bit? I kind of felt like I was rocking the space pirate thing." She grins, but there is the tightness of pain to the expression as it is clear her wound from the first battle still smarts.

Maneuver to Aim.
Attack deals 7 damage pre-soak to the Espos. Taking two strain for the threats.

Seku Bondara rolled 1 success, 2 threats using the Star Wars Edge of the Empire with a dice pool of 2A 1B 2D. Ranged (Light) to attack the Espos.

Mission 1: Yellow Zinc

Jessica shoots wide, hitting the door frame. The ASP droids receive their instructions with an 'Affirmative' and create a wall of cover for you. Seku shoots one of the Espos, but his riot armour prevents any serious damage.

The enemy captain shoots, not at the Rebels but at the barrier of sparks. Her blaster bolts sever the current and leave the lines dead.

"Now get in there!" She bellows at the Espos. They hurry to comply. The six men enter, rushing towards the line of ASP droids blocking their way. They use their rifles, both as blasters and bludgeons, to smash the unresisting droids to pieces. Now that the firing lane is clear, they all hurry to take cover behind crates and girders. Captain Landal follows their example, taking cover behind a crate.

Ranged attacks on Espos are 2d 1S. Ranged attacks on Landal are 1d 1c 1s.

Semi squeezed off another shot, this time aiming for the enemy captain. As she ducks back behind cover, she gets on the comm. "Alright F3, here's my idea: this ship is a big ring and I'm willing to take a chance that this is the last of their security troops here with us. See if you can get around behind them to the bridge. If we're very lucky, they might have left it unmanned. If you can take control of the ship maybe we can seal them behind some blast doors."

As the blaster fight continued F3-3T listened to Seku and tried to sneak around the detail. Although immediately rushed into a stack of crates emptied by the simple droids. The pile toppled about crashing around F3-3T in a thunderous clang and clack. Even in a blaster fight it could be heard. "Zurt."

Jess inflicts another wound on an Espo. This time the man falls backwards. He doesn't look dead, but he looks too badly wounded to continue the fight.

Seku and Victor combine fire on Landal. She curses as blaster bolts hit her cover and her arm. When she raises her own blaster to counter-attack, her aim is shaky.

F3-3T gets nearly to the hallway door before accidentally forgoing stealth. The Espos note his presence, but continue firing on the organic Rebels.

The Espos fire a heavy volley from their riot guns. Jess hunkers and curls behind her cover to avoid exposing her body. One of the Espos stands up out of cover to get a better angle, and moves closer. He fires at point-blank range, hitting her lower leg.

Mission 1: Yellow Zinc

Horrid second act theme music emits from a bugged F3-3T as Seku (The freed Slave Dancer Leader of Alpha Team, no matter what re-programming takes place) takes a critical injury. That and the last ditch effort of his team to win the day have driven the sexually driven astromech to the brink of valor.... He believes, maybe just maybe a Twi'lek like her and a droid programmed like me have a chance at love?

The mad math variable of thought=love=valor, programmed into F3-3T drives his circuits into a mad dash of strain draining panic and efficiency.

F3-3T digs deep into droid jive and whilst finding a handful of wave III remote actived thermal detonators, quickly primes the buggers and hands one to each droid that passes by and instructs them to bring them to the enemy as careful as one would carrying a cup of Bantha Poodoo on the deck of an ISD commanded by Darth Vadar. F3-3T cries out in management rage.... "BingZapBlangDarng...PoodooWang!!!".

The little droids yelp, "Yup, yup. Boom Boom." and F3-3T rolls toward the injured Tw'lek muttering sweet nothings and that it will be alright as he commands his small gang to detonate the enemy if need be. Hopefully to primed thermals will scare the enemy into disarray and F3-3T can disarm them remotely by Hutt-Tooth technology stored in his sweet black chassis.

Mission 1: Yellow Zinc

Jess fires back, striking the enemy. He falls to the ground. The other soldiers seem to be low on charge for their weapons, and as a group reload their guns.

Meanwhile, F3-3T is very busy. He press-gangs his new militia into serving as his sacrificial brigade, arming them with explosives and giving them their instructions. One after another, the droids begin to march, in their plodding, unhurried pace, towards the Espos.

The Espos see all this. Wide-eyed and with empty guns, they hurry to finish reloading. Then one, and then the rest, all run back down the hallway.

Captain Landal hisses as she witnesses this. Unlike many commanders, she does not order her men to stand and fight when faced with certain death. Instead, she joins them in their hasty retreat. She has time to snap off a shot and destroy one of the droids before she makes it back into the hallway. The enemy are all about thirty meters down the hall now.

"ZeepOZeepOOzipAhF3-3T!!!Bleeep!!![Language unknown: Ut I Ch Conereiou Noch! Mead Rederadin PROWHILIN!!]". F3-3T using his remote control connection to both droid and primed thermal ranged detonaters is up to his optical units in the endless possible variations and patterns the silly little buggers could collide and destroy the ship and the team.

The first is destroyed and his bomb falls toward the ground which F3-3T barely disarms before it hits the ground and rolls toward the Espos Captain, which another droid picks up, and F3-3T re-activates the bomb. 4 droids 5 bombs wheel in a single file line after the first is easily picked off, the lead droid passes its bomb to its fellow and raises its servo arms in programmed rage.

Now Second droid has two bombs as well as rear droid in the conga line of chaos. The team of suicide droids is moving at a relatively slow speed not wanting to leave sight and range of F3-3T and hopefully leaving enough time to drag the Tw'ilek slave Captain back to the ship. "ZonkBoopBleep[Language unknown: Dinla m Se...]", the little astromech beeps solemnly back to the group heading off himself behind the wall of bomb droids, placing himself in relatively large amount of danger to his precious love smitten circuits.

The enemy fire a volley at the oncoming ASP droids. Several of them are destroyed, but not all of them. The Espos flee down the hall, away from you. The ASPs, still being directed by F3-3T on their suicidal mission of destruction, follow. They are programmed to move at a slow, deliberate pace to avoid damaging anything, and are not catching up to their targets.

You can no longer see the Espos. They have fled too far to be visible around the curving hallway. It would seem that you have a moment of peace.

"STRNK!STRNK!STRNK!" F3-3T calls out to the suicide droids who stop in their tracks those that are still functional, some that were twitching on the ground stop as well. The astromech droid looks down to find Seku gasping for her life, "GAAAZEEBO!EEP SEKU BEEP!". The tiny astromech heads to the downed Tw'lek which he has grown fond of even if she refuses to dance exotically she is quite fetching in the droids calculations and tabulates she would make a good master, although dead he finds those calculations drop dramatically.

The untrained F3-3T rolls quickly over to Seku and does the best he can to staunch bleeding and inspect trauma on Seku, although his untrained spastic spanners might have infected the Twi'lek as he is covered in astro-grime and oils along with germs he has picked rummaging through trash bins and refresher tubes for spare anythings. He keeps her from dying at the moment, but she needs true medical attention. F3-3T tries to relay this although he still is unsure who speaks binary and who doesn't, he assumes no one understands anything he has said the entire mission.

Shocked at the news, Victor strapped the rifle on his back and ran to where Jess was administering to Seku. "Common! Let's get her back to our ship. Those wounds look bad but I don't think we can do anything about them here!".

Combining strength, you haul Seku's wounded body back into the ship.

Even through the stress of combat, you find a moment to take stock. It looks like the Espos are going to be able to destroy the bomb droids without taking significant casualties, but it will take them time and force them away from the docking bay. This leaves you with a few moments, perhaps a few minutes without interference.

Your ship is partially loaded with a cargo that the Rebels will find useful. You have the deadly poison in your possession, but currently the prototype missile is still locked down. After letting the ASPs take a lot of shots on your behalf, you don't have a labour force to continue the loading work.

The Rebels decide that resistance has gotten too stiff, and it is time to pull out. They get back on board their ship and take stations. The ship is still 'warmed up,' so it's quick work getting it ready for flight. You get the chance to watch the Espos and the Captain return to the docking bay just as the bulkhead slams closed. Faintly, you hear blaster fire before the airlock decompresses and the ship separates.

Red Squadron sees your freighter detatch. They have been waiting eagerly for this moment, because they are concerned about an incoming squadron of fighters from the nearby Imperial base. Red Leader's astromech transmits astrogational information to you, allowing the navigator to quickly calculate a short jump.

Just as you and the fighters are forming up to leave the system, your sensors chime a proximity alert. A Lancer-class frigate comes out of hyperspace only a few light-minutes away from your current position. Then a Carrack-class cruiser, and then a bulk transport arrive in system. The transport immediately begins deploying TIE fighters.

Fortunately, you are already on your way out. With the pull of a lever, your ship leaps into hyperspace.
