It appears that the Exodus fleet was comprised of a hodge-podge of starships, collecting some as it fled, and that command was ... collective and fractured.

We believe the prisoner transport, the
RCV Mrefu Kiweo, was originally being escorted by the
RCN Mbwa Mwitu and was the main reason for her deserting and joining the fleet - the cryo-prisoners aboard considered by her captain to be too dangerous to be released under some ceasefire or other. Unfortunately these are among the most cryptic of the records and there are several references we have found no trace of other than in this context: the Abate Gulf, the Vailheu Bank, Commodore Hitoshi and the Shemaal-Pireus Amalgam.
Beneath the Alluvian Highlands is ruin and wonder, though it takes several days of tense negotiation before the Imperator is convinced to permit the seasoned CIA-SOU team and Kavachian scientists to join his own expeditionary force of Eos marines and Anemoi covert ops personnel. Deep within a natural cave is a partially collapsed shaft, leading upwards to where whatever made it burrowed into the mountain and leading into the deeps where it branches into a network of tunnels and chambers, filled with cryonic chambers and many machines of unknown purpose. What is clear is the scale of the place: there are perhaps thousands or tens of thousands in cryonic suspension and many miles of tunnels, carved out over centuries. In the outermost chambers are indeed monsters - distorted figures that may have once been men or wolves or birds, their natures warped and twisted and their bodies desiccated with age. Further in are row upon row of embryos in various stages of maturation - a small proportion of which have been matured to a adult state, though these older forms are often lifeless, whatever process operating them interrupted. In one chamber, with several bulky devices strewn across the floor, are dozens of human skeletons - mostly those of children. At the heart of the labyrinthine facility are initial missing team, in suspension themselves with what appear to be great rending wounds, and beyond them the Songline seed station. You find no trace of the keeper, though it is clear someone or something placed the missing men in stasis.
You have found one of the Songline seed stations. Further study will reveal more of it's capabilities and history
