Go with generic amphibious stealthy assault and hostage rescue. Approach it with that in mind and you'll probably be on the same page as the rest of us.
The exact plan will have to wait until we actually lay eyes on the place and figure out where the guards are, where we can land under cover and so on.

The problem is I have no idea what information you guys have.

I know of the kidnapping but I have no idea who or who many of the there OPFOR is, how you know they're there, what their capabilities are apart from that they once used Uzis in a different country and why they are on that island.

Nobody knows why that island, just that it's where they are. Likewise their skill levels and capabilities are unknown beyond they're a gang which killed a dozen people in about a minute using uzi's and bad intentions. They apparently had no problem with killing anyone and everyone that got in their way.
Whether they're armed with anything other than Uzi's how many are on the island, what their level of professionalism is, and how they're likely to react if attacked by a competent, well armed group like yourselves is completely unknown. The only opposition they faced when they assaulted the hotel were a few unarmed security and an off duty policeman who happened to be in the area at the time.

How did we find out about the island? Divination? :)

I'm slowly working up an equipment list. I was getting close to done but I stupidly was doing it in a text file that I didn't save, and my computer froze. So, it will take me a bit to go through and get it all again.

To summarize, though, my mission-specific asks (exclusive of my personal equipment) is, basically: a engineer demolitions kit and a handful of various explosives.
