Prologue:  Chandler walks into the bar

Sam took a couple of seconds to process the fact that she'd had yet another drink thrown into her face by her ex-boyfriend... then reached for her own glass, which she emptied onto the floor and threw towards Chandler's leg.

Then she threw herself under the table to take cover while everyone else dealt with Chandler.

Prologue:  Chandler walks into the bar

Palmer stepped out of the restroom, eager to finish watching the rest of the soccer match.  That kebab from the shady looking street cart outside didn't sit too well and had hit hard and fast. He should have known better.

"Aww. Dammit!", Mike exclaimed when he saw the brawl begin to erupt. He saw Donnelly get hit in the chest and went in to help.

Palmer quickly moved around behind the big Irishman and went at Chandler from his off-hand side.  He dropped and slid across the floor hoping to hit him at the knees and take him to the ground, or at least knock him off balance so the others could finish the job.

Prologue:  Chandler walks into the bar

Eric snarled a curse and came up like he was going to take Chandler's head off but long years of fighting had taught him better ways. As he came up he dipped his shoulder and fired off of his back foot. Putting all of his weight behind his shoulder like a 220 pound meat and bone battering ram.

Prologue: Chandler walks into the bar

Donnelly shrugged off the blow like it had never happened, and moved to grapple with Chandler.
Chandler however proved a little more slippery than expected for a supposedly drunk man, or maybe Donnelly was distracted by the glass Sam threw towards them?
By some miracle (for those who knew Sam's lack of skill regarding accurate throwing) the glass impacted with an audible thump on Chandlers arm before falling to the hard floor and shattering - rolling around on the floor now was likely to be rather uncomfortable for those involved...
A heartbeat later and Woods dives at Chandler right as he steps back from being hit by the glass. Woods crashes to the floor, barely avoiding injury himself.
Karl leaps across the table attempting to succeed where Woods failed. The "old man" of the group smashes into Chandlers body, sending him to the floor and the bat cartwheeling through the air.

From here the outcome of the fight is a forgone conclusion as first Palmer, then Donnelly and Woods join Karl in restraining Chandler as he screams defiant insults.

[Private to GM: Outstanding success by Chandler to avoid Woods - rolled 1 with a target of 14. Positively danced out of the way!
Could have kept going after Karl, but I very much doubt Chandler would have had any opportunity to take even one more action before being knocked unconscious or grappled into complete submission.
You want to post a wrap up? Police arrive, damages get sorted out, etc?

Prologue: Chandler walks into the bar

Jack ducked behind his open laptop as the bat flew over his head and then held up his right hand and shouted, "Ippon!".

Glancing at the often misused sports implement with a bemused expression he shared,

"You'd think it would be hard to get one of those in Sweden. Do they even play baseball here?"

In reply to Jack Random (msg # 27):

"We're in Belgium, not Sweden", Allington said as she got up from the floor and wiped some of the booze from her hair.

Walking over to the now restrained Chandler, she took every single remaining drink from the table and poured it over him.

"How do you like that?!" she yelled as the door to the bar opened and two uniformed police officers arrived.

Prologue: Chandler walks into the bar

"Faen!!!"
Karl swore quietly but with intense passion when the police arrived.
As the man with both rank and seniority, it fell to him to deal with the law and ensure only Chandler was dragged off to the cells. Public relations though was not something he enjoyed, especially on what was supposed to have been down time.
"Looks like night is over. Better go get sleep and meet back at office in morning at oh eight thirty."
"Mister Donnelly, you should get your ribs checked out."

Donnelly looks down at his chest and smiles "Nah non of them are broken and I've already spent all the time sitting on an emergency room exam table I ever want to" He pauses and looks back Karl.
"Hey were not going out just yet are we? 'cause if we are then I better get to getting some gear together."

The two officers swiftly dragged Chandler off and then the barman walked over to the group.

"All of you", he said in a very firm voice, "Out. You're barred for a month. If I see you in here before that, it will be permanent. Understand?"

Jack closed his laptop and unplugged the charging cable from the wall.

He tipped his ball cap to the barman, "See ya in a month."

Smiling he headed for the door.

"A month? We were just defending the lady's honor." Palmer argued.   "It isn't fair to kick us out for something like that, is it?  Besides,  we're good customers."

The barman was not budging, physically or otherwise.

" now that brings a lot of images ta mind. But the thing is my friend a fellow with a weapon comes in to yur bar next time and starts ta mess up your property and patrons an the only thing your fine mind can say is ANYONE fighting is banned, well and good then let that be the rule an I hope ye never come to wish it were otherwise."

"Let it go, man.", Palmer called back to the old soldier.

"Their place, their rules.  There are plenty of other bars to drink in."

He finished his beer with a couple of gulps and headed towards the door.

Eric had listened as the police hauled Chandler off with a flat, stony expression on his face. When the barman spoke his piece he gave a snort and walked back to their table. He slammed back what was left of his scotch, grabbed his jacket, and followed the others out the door without a word.

Sam grabbed her handbag and followed the others out.

"Well, that was a bust", she said, "Now if you excuse me, I need to wash beer out of my hair. I'll see you at 8am tomorrow morning - apparently we've got something coming down the pipeline".

She quickly walked away into the Antwerp streets. A short distance away, someone who had too much to drink vomited against a lamppost.
