Is Robert entering the same building Louis in in, or is he crossing the street (moving northwest) to the next building?

Does it seem like the women on the other side of the door?

Robert hears this as he's stepping inside the building. The women are further inside, but he can't see anything.

The woman who is helping Robert and Louis is Lucinda Wilder. I was using the wrong name before. Apologies :-(

As far as I remember, Robert and Louis arrived on Mars sometime in early 1889, maybe February? They haven't been married very long, as our first thread started in May 1889 (where they'd been married for about three months), and the current date is June 28, 1889 at about 8pm.

Quick marriages after meeting were pretty common in my understanding that then.

I seem to recall that the ship was somehow sabotaged. The rest is rather vague

All I remember is that Robert had padded Louis' stateroom, and that the spent some quality time there before the crash :-)
